The rear of the cottage backs onto open fields and the wide range of birds visiting the feeders on the patio were a delight. You can walk directly from the house. The location is great for a wide range of places to visit, both rural and urban. It is peaceful and quiet with amazing stars on clear nights. A warm and welcoming interior that is decked out to feel as if it’s a home away from home. The photo’s don’t necessarily do the cottage justice. The kitchen has everything you would need, the lounge has lovely cosy seats, throws and Netflix on hand to escape. Under heated floor and a fire should you need the heat to take the edge of after being outside all day and a memory foam comfortable bed to sleep on. On the patio to the rear of the patio hangs a bird feeder, which can be watched from the armchairs in the lounge, losing sense of time watching the many birds visit. Such a good location being not far from ingleton and the waterfall walk and the base of Ingleborough. We visited Wensleydale, Skipton and Malham Cove which are all beautiful places close by. We would definitely recommend this cottage for a romantic, peaceful, relaxing time away and will definitely be back again next year.
