"Lovely quaint cottage with plenty of charm in a very peaceful village ."
Cosy fire and beds , the backyard is small but big enough for a couple of nights , although the property appeared clean on closer inspection we found lots of long black hairs and dust on fittings and the kitchen floor and the yard could have done with a sweep although this didnt impact our overall enjoyment a double check on the clean would have been good. Thank you for our stay we wouldnt hesitate to return .
I am sorry that there were issues with the housekeeping during your stay, I have had no negative comments regarding the cleanliness of the property before.
I did message you after your first night to ask if everything was alright for you when you arrived at the cottage and I got no response, if you had replied to me with the above issues I would happily have rectified the situation during your stay. Property Owner

"Lovely cosy cottage - very clean and well equipped."
Good quality furnishings, bedding etc
Great places to walk locally - Ingleton, Ingleborough, Kirkby Lonsdale and along the riverside at Bentham.
We stayed a week and felt very much at home there.
There is a small back yard which would be good to sit out in good weather.

"Lovely cottage to stay in - beautifully clean too."
Sarah the owner was very conscientious about sending texts to check all was well both during and after our stay. She also left a few welcome "goodies" in the cottage for our stay (thank you for these!).
The cottage is set back from the road and there are some cobbles - which can get slippery in the wet - up a short slope to the row of cottages. No problem for us, but may be a consideration for some visitors.
Parking is on the road up from the cottage - again, this may be a consideration for some visitors.
Excellent location for visiting nearby towns and villages.
We really enjoyed our stay

Though both excellent, seem to be open only on thursday, friday, saturday , not sure about sunday. Other pubs locally are open all week, just a short drive away, ( High Bentham, Ingleton). If dining, its best to book.

"Cobble Cottage was lovely and had all you needed (apart from egg cups) for a fantastic week in North Yorkshire."
It had access to plenty of amazing days out including Ingleborough, Ingleton Falls and our favourite Settle!
Low Bentham itself was a little disappointing with no local shop and two scruffy pubs. High Bentham was a little better with a few shops, pubs and amenities.
We had a fantastic week in Cobble Cottage and would recommend Sykes.

"Cottage is in an excellent location, just 2 mins from a pub."
Bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, log burner all good. Lovely cottage, perfect of 3 (could probably squeeze a cot in as well)
Sofa had a bit of a doggy smell - suggest they replace it with a leather one if allowing dogs to stay.
I am sorry if you found the settee to smell of dog but we do ask guests to
not allow pets on the soft furnishings however we are not able to monitor
this. After your comment left in the guest book I arranged for the settee
and chair to be professional cleaned at the next changeover day. We value
guest feedback and will act on this accordingly when necessary.

Such a lovely location, we climbed the three peaks as the cottage is so close to all three and we were blessed with beautiful weather, also had a lovely time walking the Ingleton waterfall trail.
The cottage was exactly what we were looking for, dog friendly, comfortable and had a really cozy feel. Very well equipped with everything we needed. Everything was sparkling clean and we will definitely be back.

"The cottage itself was very nice."
Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Just a few minor points would make a difference. There were enough plates, bowls, glasses etc to throw a party yet only 2 mugs! which is what you would use most, just a bit of a pain having to wash them after every drink. Also some hooks on the small bedroom and bathroom doors would be handy for hanging clothes. The biscuits and milk left for us was much appreciated. There was a small yard at the rear which was a suntrap. Unfortunately it was impossible to enjoy the tranquility of the place because of the building work going on next door and also there was a building site just up the road which was very noisy. I think we should have been made aware of this beforehand as it spoilt our stay.
Apart from this the cottage /village was lovely, just don't go on holiday to be disturbed by building noise
Thank you very much for your feedback and I'm glad you enjoyed your stay at Cobble Cottage, I apologise for the lack of mugs as breakages do occur but this issue has been rectified, I have spoken to the owners of the adjoining cottage and they have assured me that they were only doing work there for 1 day that particular week, the renovations to their cottage are coming to a close now with only decorating and garden work to be completed. There is a small redevelopment of the former village primary school which is not directly adjacent to the property but higher up in the village behind another row of cottages, the village is quiet so sound will carry and I'm sorry if this spoilt your stay.
