The barn itself was extremely clean and comfortable and the view from the front of the property was outstanding. The owner was very helpful and on hand if needed. I would highly recommend a holiday here.

  • "Absolutely stunning property."

The owners are absolutely lovely and the welcome pack was greatly appreciated. What was outstanding was that all facilities were provided including tea, coffee, milk, sugar, dishwasher tablets, washing power, foil, hand wash, shower gel, washing up liquid etc. Although we bought our own. It was a pleasant surprise that it was all provided. Beautiful cottage, we fell in love with the cottage and will be returning.

Modern and bright and airy. Nice welcome pack included. Very quiet area. Nice variety of pubs within 1.5-2.0 miles. One criticism was that the sofa and chairs we’re not particularly comfortable. It would also have been helpful to have more details about things to see in the area.

  • "Everything here was excellent, and full of charm."

It was spotlessly clean, and complied with Covid rules. The beds were very comfortable, and there was everything you could possibly need with regard to kitchen equipment. Coppa Hill Barn is in a beautiful quiet spot, with wonderful views, yet close to many places of interest, with the three peaks, waterfall walk, caves and wonderful hay meadows full of wildflowers a short car ride away. There is a farm shop, with a lovely cafe at the turnoff on the A65. There are also lovely villages, and small towns within easy reach. Highly recommended. We loved it!

Cottage was superb , and the owner Emily was lovely , if like us one of the party is disabled , wheelchair bound, then the cottage is fine , but only small fault is they only had freeview television , this is not a criticism of the cottage or the owner , on the whole a really lovely cottage and location ,

The place was clean, roomy, modern and had every need to make for a very comfortable stay. Plenty to do in the area, loads of walks, places of interest to visit and all in all and really relaxing time. Oh and thanks too to the morning entertainment provided by the two resident chickens. A couple of cheeky chicks or roosters ( not sure which) so many thanks to Emily for making our stay a really pleasant experience. Recommended.

The cottage was very stylishly furnished and decorated, and had every comfort and facility we required. Mrs. Lawson, the owner, who was in the next-door cottage, was very friendly and helpful. My wife and I are happy to stay in cottages which are situated in farms, as we feel there is an extra level of security attached to such premises, which gives us some extra degree of peace-of-mind. We would thoroughly recommend this cottage to anyone.
