The small hamlet of Lowick Green sprawls amongst glorious and secluded open countryside, only a few miles from the southern tip of Lake Windermere, three miles from Coniston Water and a mile from the old and historical village of Greenodd. Made up of traditional old farmhouses, the area is blessed with beautiful views of Coniston Old Man. Superb walking, mountain biking and climbing are available locally on Coniston Old Man and Wetherlam, and the lovely woodland trails at Grizedale Forest. Lowick Green boasts its own 14th century pub, renowned for its hospitality and fine local ales, whilst nearby Ulverston provides an excellent market, an array of old pubs and good restaurants.
