  • "It was really lovely!"

In a really nice location too, everywhere was clean, it was huge. Quiet at night but close enough to surrounding towns too. My family had a lovely break and I’d definitely recommend to anyone else :)

  • "We had a great stay at the elms whilst visiting for the festival."

It was in a lovely quiet residential area but still within walking distance of the centre of town. The property was equipped with everything you could need and was well laid out. Communication prior to arrival was great and the check in was easy. We wouldn’t hesitate to return.

  • "I have sent a feedback reply over a week ago."

I had just 2 complaints, I have never had to empty an overloaded dishwasher on arrival, wondered why I couldn’t find some crockery items, glasses, etc., until I opened the dishwasher hence things were put back in the cupboards anywhere, also the first time I closed the blinds in the lounge a panel fell on top of my head, luckily it wasn’t very heavy. We are always being asked to leave things as we found them on leaving, we don’t use dishwashers so I left it empty to save you the bother. J

  • "This is wonderful place to enjoy lytham and surrounding areas."

Points that need addressing. Bannister is coming loose at top of stairs, and carpet needs looking at at door of small bedroom. Stairs are very steep as expected, but I have mobility issues and better really difficult to get in and out due to extended sides. Might be worth mentioning in your advert for property

It is in a good location for the local amenities. The hosts were very helpful with their correspondence before we arrived. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

  • "The apartment is exceptional with everything you need."

The only downside is the outside area is not brilliant.

  • "We were disappointed to find that the bedroom upstairs had been shut off."

This restricted the use of having the two toilets and shower facilities which would have been more convenient than only having one toilet and shower, given that there four residents staying. At the time of booking it had mentioned three bedrooms. Otherwise we very happy with the accommodation .

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear of your disappointment during your stay. We had to take the difficult decision to market the property as a two bedroom holiday cottage reserving the upstairs room for our own use. We had provided as much advance notice and communicated this decision to Sykes in August 2019 to update the description in order to avoid any disappointment to returning guests such as yourself. We do hope you enjoyed your stay otherwise. Property Owner

  • "We really enjoyed the spacious and welcoming apartment."

The broken window was dealt with in the best possible way. We really appreciated the wine left as an apology. Our young grandaughters found plenty to keep themselves amused and occupied. An excellent property which we are considering trying to book again.

About the location

LYTHAM ST. ANNES

Blackpool 5.2 miles.

The seaside towns of Lytham and St Annes-on-Sea nestle along a picturesque stretch of coastline lined with pretty parks. For many centuries, the economy of this lovely area was dependent entirely on fishing until the beginning the Industrial Revolution, which resulted in the wealthy creating an affluent area, lasting until the present day. A short stroll from the Lytham seafront brings you to leafy Clifton Street, where you’ll find charming boutiques, restaurants and independent shops. Lytham Green, a strip of grass running between the shore and the main coastal road, is a notable landmark, overlooking the River Ribble towards the Welsh Mountains, and home to the restored Windmill and Old Lytham Lifeboat House museum. Those interested in craft ales can take a tour of the Lytham Brewery, whilst walkers and twitchers will adore the rolling sandy dunes of St Annes-on-Sea and the Ribble Estuary providing a safe haven for more than 250,000 migrating birds that return each winter. The area is internationally renowned for golf with four courses to choose from, the most notable being the Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club, one of the host courses for the Open Championship. Traditional seaside pastimes can be enjoyed at St Annes-on-Sea with a pretty pier and charming little beach huts in an array of pastels offering visitors a unique, exciting addition for a day beside the sea. A short walk from the pier brings you to St Annes Square and Wood Street, where you'll find charming coffee shops, tea rooms, restaurants and independent shops. Lovely long strolls, sunny afternoons on the sand or fun-filled frolics in nearby Blackpool, Lytham St Annes is a charming coastal destination with plenty to offer. Boating, cycling, shopping and swimming can all also be enjoyed nearby, along with award-winning restaurants, traditional pubs and wine bars should you fancy celebrating.
