  • “Accommodation was first rate, everything catered for, spacious, cosy, warm and bed was amazing.”

Heating, hot water and shower system fantastic. Obviously a few things missing due to Covid but easy to manage. Long drive to nearest shop/supermarket so have to bear that in mind. Parking, turning around outside a little awkward but after a week there we had it sorted. Two local pubs really good for food and ale and really up to speed with covid rules. Was plenty to do, was really busy especially at weekends so we dread to think what its like in peak season! Great week, one of our best, we ...

The property

A beautiful apartment set on the first floor of a barn conversion above another holiday property, resting on the riverside in the centre of the village of Malham, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

With its own private entrance hall, this superb holiday apartment in Malham has been beautifully finished by the owners with a stylish, contemporary twist, and features thoughtful additions including eco-friendly, air source heating to provide exclusive holiday accommodation.

With a spacious bedroom boasting a super king-size double bed and a stylish adjoining en-suite, this lovely Malham apartment provides the perfect retreat for couples seeking a romantic Yorkshire Dales getaway.

The luxurious open plan living area is bright and modern with its stunning, very well-equipped kitchen with large fridge/freezer, whilst the sitting area features open beams, a large TV and comfy seating, providing a cosy spot to unwind together after a busy day discovering the Dales.

Inviting views of the surrounding countryside can be enjoyed from inside, but on sunny days, guests should venture out to the riverside grassed area, where you can enjoy a glass of wine or a barbecue and unwind as you watch the water hurry by.

A handy outbuilding, shared with the ground floor property, houses the laundry facilities and comes complete with a heated drying room, perfect for storing bikes and walking clothes and equipment after a wonderful day out and about in the dramatic limestone scenery that surrounds this Malham apartment.

Set in the heart of this pretty little village, you will find a selection of quaint tea rooms and local inns as well as the National Park Visitor Centre, with lots of information on nearby attractions, just a short walk away.

This Yorkshire Dales apartment is within easy reach of some memorable walks amongst beautiful scenery, including Malham Tarn, Gordale Scar, the spectacular waterfall of Janet’s Foss, plus, a trip to see the impressive Malham Cove is not be missed.

A wonderful first floor apartment in Malham, providing special holiday accommodation for your next romantic break.

Note: This property is next to Ref. 913584, and together they sleep 4. We regret that due to the on going coronavirus pandemic and related restrictions we are temporarily unable to allow our guests to use the shared facility of the shed at Tennant Barn, therefore, the washing machine and drying room will not be available.

About the location

MALHAM

Settle 7 miles; Skipton 12 miles.

Situated at the head of Malhamdale amidst superb open limestone countryside, the picturesque village of Malham is a magnet for visitors to the Dales who come to see one of Britain's most impressive natural features - Malham Cove.

The Cove consists of a natural cavern or 'amphitheatre' of limestone rock stretching 75 metres in height and 300 metres around the perimeter.

A steep walk up man-made steps is rewarded with a superb view across moors and limestone pavements to Malham Tarn - the Pennines' highest natural lake.

The village itself has pubs and tea rooms and a National Park Centre.

Mountain bike hire can be arranged locally.

There is excellent walking in all directions, making Malham a great base for a Dales holiday..
