The Settle Loop is a bridleway which can be walked, cycled or enjoyed on horseback. For those less inclined towards the great outdoors, there are many sightseeing activities in the area. Visit the Trough of Bowland, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, or head into the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park with its famous limestone crags and the unending dry stone walls. Locally, the Courtyard provides an excellent Bistro, tea room, award-winning cheese and showrooms with locally-made furniture. Settle is a perfect Dales village with a thriving community, excellent old pubs, a central square with weekly market and access to the not to be missed Settle-Carlisle railway. A little further down the valley, Skipton, host to the 2014 Tour De France, offers a great day out with its Norman castle, canal trips and award-winning high street. A great holiday destination to get away from it all and indulge in country living at its very best!

The first floor contains a spacious sitting room with stylish contemporary furnishings and patio doors leading to a balcony area, a great spot to relax and take in the countryside and the long distance views of Pendle Hill, home of the infamous Pendle Witches.
A modern bathroom with separate shower cubicle serves the stylish and comfortable double bedroom.
The second floor bedroom is a real delight, with Velux windows bathing the room in a bright and cheery light, and the room itself offers great flexibility with a super king-size zip/link bed and a single bed.

A typical Dales village with picturesque stone cottages and gently rolling countryside. A haven of peace and quiet and yet only a few miles from the busy little market town of Settle. Rathmell offers walking, cycling, and horseriding, and is an ideal spot from which to explore this lovely area. Visit Settle to enjoy the weekly market, or get out and about amongst the limestone crags which make up the landscape around this part of the National Park. Close to Settle is Giggleswick, famous for its beautiful chapel. Skipton and Malham are within easy reach, while further afield is the stunning Lake District National Park. A lovely village, and a great base for enjoying this beautiful region.
