"We really enjoyed the cottage, it was perfectly situated, comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen."
Also appreciated the local info, recommendations and maps. As keen runners, walkers and swimmers we really loved the Kings Walk into the nearby woods, it's very lovely in autumn. The village has all you need, little supermarket, deli, good second hand bookshop. We will plan to return again, thanks for a lovely stay

"The house was clean and beautifully decorated the extra loo outside was a great surprise and handy for 5 guests."
The kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need. The foresters bistro has delicious reasonably priced food and is only a couple of minutes walk from the house. The information book was a fantastic source of inspiration as were the many leaflets and walking guides. We had a fantastic week in your warm and cosy home, thank you for the welcome treats they were very much appreciated.

"The house had everything we needed for our stay."
Very clean and well maintained. Beautifully decorated and presented overall…even the outside WC! We couldn’t find the visitors book so were not able to leave any feedback. A great base to explore the stunning countryside. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again.

"A beautifully decorated three bedroomed house in central Middleton in Teesdale."
Clean and welcoming on arrival - we felt at home straight away. Lovely walks from the house and over the fells at nearby Holwick. Good Co-op shop in the town for all your grocery needs. We really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend.

"Beautiful cottage, everything you could wish for, very tastefully done."
Amazing area to walk with incredible scenery, lovely village & locals are so friendly. We have stayed in almost 30 cottages over the years & this was up there with the very best.

"Absolutely lovely inside as per pictures."
Obviously all recently renovated. Spotlesslessly clean. Everything you could ever need for a week or more stay. Kitchen full of equipment and so nice to have a full sized fridge and added bonus freezer. Lovely dinning area to eat in. All very cozy. Beds very comfortable. Parking on front not an issue. Walks galore from door were outstanding, and there were lots of walks/walking books/info on stuff to do.Traffic a bit noisy in a morning, but certainly wouldnt put us off returning. Weather not the best, but didnt stop us having a good holiday, it added to the fun. Loved the O/s map on wall and local scenes. Nice welcome gift. Thank you

"We really enjoyed our stay at 15 Market Place."
The place was spotless, and very comfortable. The whole house was tastefully decorated, and the kitchen had everything you needed (even a wine chiller). The outside area was secure, so our Nell (6 year old cockapoo) could wander in and out at will safely. Cannot fault this property at all. One of the nicest holiday cottages we have ever stayed in. Would definitely recommend.
