    Spacious, comfortable and with stunning views, this apartment was brilliant for our family holiday.

    Spacious, comfortable and with stunning views, this apartment was brilliant for our family holiday. It was a great base for days out exploring the Lakes and Wetheral itself has some lovely walks along the river Eden and good pubs. Our children enjoyed the grounds at the back where there were picnic benches and we were fortunate to see some deer. Another nice outdoor seating area at the entrance. Highly recommend!

Geltsdale East Wing Holiday Apartments

This group of two well-presented apartments boast charm and character, located in the scenic village of Wetheral with much to see in and around the area. This superb three bedroom apartment is located in the village of Wetheral and boasts views over the Eden Valley.

On the first floor you will arrive at a classic kitchen, home to a dining table whether you can gather everyone for an evening meal.

A cloakroom and utility are also available for your convenience.

For a relaxing night in, the sitting room with leather sofas and TV is overlooked by exposed beams creating an all round warm ambience.

On the first floor you will also find a master double bedroom.

Carlisle 5.3 miles.

The village of Wetheral lies five miles from Carlisle in the north of Cumbria. With great transport links, Wetheral has a quaint village green and is overlooked by a restaurant, pub, village shop and tearooms, along with the Crown Hotel. A short steep walk takes you past the church and remains of the abbey to the River Eden. To the east, the 19th century viaduct towers above the river with some of the best salmon fishing in the country. Further along the river you can view a wonderful waterfall from Corby Castle, and woodland walks lead to the remains of the caves used in the 14th century. Carlisle – the Border City – is the main shopping, commercial and industrial centre in the northern half of Cumbria, with a museum, historic tours, and plenty of entertainment for you to enjoy at your own leisure.
