Family of 4 with a small dog. Seating in the living room is not particularly comfortable but fine for a few nights and could be moved around to use the fire and TV at the same time. Bathroom and kitchen perfect. Easy to park outside the property. Enclosed rear yard for our dog which is essential for us. Thanks

It is cosy and comfortable and very welcoming. It’s in an ideal position for local shops and walks and we enjoyed everything we could, despite the weather (Storm Gerrit - everything from sunshine to torrential rain with some thunder thrown in as well)! Highly recommend Country Harvest in Ingleton and Goat Gap Cafe (near Clapham), both are superb places for lunch. Will definitely be returning to Ingleton and 1 Lytham Terrace. Thank you.

Very comfortable beds - something you can't always say about a holiday let. Only issue we had was the plug in the bathroom sink. It's a push in plug and it doesn't retain the water in the sink. Not a major issue for a few nights but maybe for someone staying longer.

Thank you for your great review and we're so glad you had a good time. Thank you also for bringing the bathroom plug to my attention! I have replaced the whole plug and fixings and it's fine now. Really appreciate you mentioned it so I can fix it or else I don't find out. Hope you can come back soon. Gaynor and Mike Property Owner

Closed to shops and pubs. Ingleton waterfalls within walking distance. Cottage very clean. The only downfall it lacked a few basic essentials such as toilet roll, less than half a toilet roll for 2 bathrooms in the cottage. No bin bag. However, lots of hand soap. I would still recommend this cottage as a lovely place to stay in Ingleton.

Hi Liz. Glad you enjoyed your time in our cottage. Apologies for the lack of toilet roll and bin bags. They are always provided and put out by the cleaners so this was obviously an oversight and again we apologise. Gaynor and Mike. Property Owner

There is a need for more cutlery and crockery. If you have a full size dishwasher which holds up to 16 place settings you need enough stuff to fill it otherwise the machine is being put on half full (or less).Dishwashers are more economical than hand washing dishes only if they are filled.

Thanks Dennis and duly noted. We have added more of each as that makes perfect sense. Many thanks again ! Gaynor and Mike. Property Owner
