Treats left for the dog was a nice touch. Very comfy bed and spacious rooms. Modern bathroom with excellent shower. Also having downstairs shower room was great. The stairs are very steep as it is an old cottage but we were aware of this prior to booking from the property details.

  • "Excellent cottage in good location for all Ingleton and surrounding area has to offer."

Very comfortable beds - something you can't always say about a holiday let. Only issue we had was the plug in the bathroom sink. It's a push in plug and it doesn't retain the water in the sink. Not a major issue for a few nights but maybe for someone staying longer.

Thank you for your great review and we're so glad you had a good time. Thank you also for bringing the bathroom plug to my attention! I have replaced the whole plug and fixings and it's fine now. Really appreciate you mentioned it so I can fix it or else I don't find out. Hope you can come back soon. Gaynor and Mike Property Owner

Location is perfect; parking was no bother at all; Co-Op shop across the road for all essentials and five mins walk into the village. The property had everything we needed; bed linens and towels were a high quality. We cooked most nights and had everything we needed in the house. The back garden is a complete sun trap so if its sunny its lovely to sit out in the evenings. We will be back!

Thank you so much for this fantastic feedback- really does make it all worthwhile to know you had a great holiday. Look forward to welcoming you back soon! Gaynor and Mike Property Owner

Ideally situated within 5 mins walk of Ingleton village and close to a useful Co-Op, the property is fantastic for exploring the beautiful Yorkshire countryside. The property has everything you require for a comfortable stay. Yes, the stairs are steep but there is a handrail. I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

We loved the little welcome pack (especially the dog treats!) and communication was excellent. The rooms are very spacious and clean, the beds are very comfortable and the little outdoor patio area is lovely. We really couldn’t fault anything at all. The cottage is in a fabulous location for some beautiful walks and the village has everything you need - shops, pubs and restaurants all a short walk away. If we could rate it higher than 5 stars then we would and we will definitely be returning!

Thank you so much for this wonderful feedback- it makes it all worthwhile! Looking forward to your next visit. Thanks again, Gaynor and Mike Property Owner

  • "Great stay, lovely cottage with all the facilities we needed and comfortable sofas after racing round the Three Peaks, street parking wasn't a problem as even fine to park just round the corner."

Only down side was the beds, all of them really soft and felt like could do with changing. Short walk to both a field for our dog to have a run around and to the award winning bakery where we picked up hot fresh loaf of sour dough.

  • "Lovely cottage."

Closed to shops and pubs. Ingleton waterfalls within walking distance. Cottage very clean. The only downfall it lacked a few basic essentials such as toilet roll, less than half a toilet roll for 2 bathrooms in the cottage. No bin bag. However, lots of hand soap. I would still recommend this cottage as a lovely place to stay in Ingleton.

Hi Liz. Glad you enjoyed your time in our cottage. Apologies for the lack of toilet roll and bin bags. They are always provided and put out by the cleaners so this was obviously an oversight and again we apologise. Gaynor and Mike. Property Owner

There is a need for more cutlery and crockery. If you have a full size dishwasher which holds up to 16 place settings you need enough stuff to fill it otherwise the machine is being put on half full (or less).Dishwashers are more economical than hand washing dishes only if they are filled.

Thanks Dennis and duly noted. We have added more of each as that makes perfect sense. Many thanks again ! Gaynor and Mike. Property Owner
