The property

This delightful barn conversion is located in a beautiful rural setting, just on the outskirts of the ever popular Ingleton, in a great location for visiting the Yorkshire Dales' Three Peaks.

Set out over two floors, renovations were carried out by the current owners and the accommodation caters for a variety of different groups wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of this lovely area.

The accommodation is full of character and charm throughout, with exposed stone and beams prominent in most of the rooms.

The sitting room is smart and elegant with a lovely woodburning stove and provides a great place to relax after a day out hiking the local fells.

The main farmhouse-style, open-plan kitchen and dining area is well-equipped and is another wonderful space to chat amongst your group about the next day’s activities and enjoy delicious home-cooked meals.

The ground floor also boasts a main entrance hall, a utility room with access to the rear courtyard and a handy cloakroom.

Upstairs, there are three bedrooms: A master bedroom with a king-size bed, lots of space and delightful views out across the front garden to the surrounding countryside, a second double with a useful vanity unit and a spacious twin bedroom.

The main bathroom is also located on this floor.

The rear, enclosed courtyard is a real feature, a great sun trap with a lovely chiminea to sit round on those balmy summer nights.

The front garden features a large grass area with patio overlooking and a great spot to catch the last of the day’s sunshine.

The property is a short drive from Ingleton, with its quaint village high street, where you will find traditional inns, independent shops and even a seasonal, open-air heated swimming pool!

The surrounding area is a dream for lovers of the great outdoors, from gentle strolls in the stunning nearby countryside to the strenuous walks and challenge of the famous Three Peaks, the many majestic caves and waterfalls and of course the excellent cycle routes, all offering something different for that very special break in the Yorkshire Dales.

The market town of Settle is close by, offering an excellent array of pubs, restaurants and charming shops, whilst Kirkby Lonsdale is also just a short drive away.

When in the area, the famous Settle-Carlisle Railway is not to be missed, winding its way through spectacular limestone scenery and over the Ribblehead Viaduct with spectacular views of the Three Peaks along the way.

Further south, the many delights of the Trough of Bowland, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is readily accessible.

Nestling under Ingleborough, one of the famous Three Peaks, on the western edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, the attractive village of Ingleton offers a good range of shops, pubs and places to eat. There's also a year-round climbing wall, as well as a seasonal heated outdoor swimming pool in a beautiful riverside setting. The attractive village centre has narrow winding streets centred on a tiny market place. The village's main claim to fame is the superb Waterfalls' Walk, while the well known White Scar Caves are just over a mile away. An excellent location from which to explore the Yorkshire Dales, the Lake District and the Forest of Bowland.
