  • "The lodge exceeded our expectations."

It was very clean and comfortable. The site was lovely. A mixture of residential and rental. We had a lovely holiday with our dogs exploring the area . Would recommend.

The lodge was nice, and the surrounding areas had everything we wanted I.e. nice scenic views whilst walking

  • "Would have been helpful to get key at the reception and also a map of where the lodge was - written instructions confusing."

Description of 'white gravel path' leading to nextdoor park not accurate and you have to climb the embankment to get there - not suitable if with a buggy or for the elderly. Generally the site and accommodation were very nice - restaurant on site not open every day - would recommend with warnings about the above.

  • "The booking of the lodge was so simple, the lodge itself had everything needed and certainly felt like a home from home."

Very clean and spotless on arrival. Everything you needed in throughout the full lodge, kitchen utensils, ironing board, vacuum cleaner & mop. Smart TV`s and WIFI has been the best we have experienced and we have stayed in a few lodges over the year. The patio area was a suntrap and plenty space and secure. We had our little Boston Terrier with us who also enjoyed every minute of our break. We would certainly return again in the future.

Thankyou so much. Pleased you had a good stay and look forward to seeing you back one day Property Owner

  • "We were disappointed that the on site restaurant was closed Sunday , Monday, Tuesday evenings and we had not been warned of this before our arrival."

The lodge was lovely, so peaceful and we really enjoyed our stay. The bathroom door needs attention it was hard to close without forcing it which made it noisy. Hope this is a helpful comment

The property was exactly as described and we didn’t have any issues.

  • "The accommodation was very nice, and spotlessly clean: there was not a frying pan within the kitchen, which I had to purchase during my holiday, and the clothes airer, was far too small : the facilities within the site, ie."

pub is very poor : the service was very slow, and the selection of food choices was very limited : there was no food for 2 days during our visit, due to staff issues, which were very apparent : the swimming pool was ok, but had to pay to use this which I didn't really understand why.
