  • "Really lovely lodge and a great holiday: Fantastic attention to detail, lots of lovely touches and very comfortable."

The place was spotlessly clean, well equipped with comfortable beds and superb bathrooms and kitchen. The view over the lake is gorgeous with great outdoor furniture to relax and enjoy it. You are aware of road noise but it doesn’t spoil being outdoors and is not at all intrusive indoors. Location is great with easy access to the Lakes and Yorkshire too and nearby Carnforth handy for shopping. We also liked the farm shops/ cafes (Greenlands Farm Village and Ireby Farm).

Thank you so much for your lovely feedback. Really glad you enjoyed your stay. Look forward to having you stay again. Thank you so much for leaving our lodge spotless and looked after. Tracey Property Owner

  • "We had an amazing stay at Gerrida Lodge, it’s beautifully decorated & maintained."

All instructions were easy to follow about the facilities including the hot tub. It’s lovely that it’s dog friendly too Tha 9am check out time is slightly brutal. Most other cottages we’ve rented are 10am. We were aware that the person waiting to clean was waiting for us to leave just before 9 which made us feel a little under pressure as we were making sure we’d emptied all the bins/ stripped beds & not left anything behind. But apart from that we we thoroughly enjoyed our stay ❤️

Hi Emma Really glad you enjoyed your stay at rhe Lodge. I always welcome guests feedback The 9am checkout is so that we can thoroughly clean and maintain the lodge to the high standard I want my guests to enjoy Whilst staying at the lodge We are aware guest might run a little late and it is never a problem Property Owner

  • "Gerrida lodge is beautifully decorated and in an excellent condition."

It was very clean, warm, with high quality furniture and fixings and with a beautiful view of the lake. The provision of slippers and lovely fluffy towels was excellent. Just a few things to note was that there was no high chair or cot available. This was then difficult to manage feeding for a 7 month old. We didn’t realise you had to pay extra to use any part of the leisure club and it was quite expensive so this should be more transparent. Finally the lodge is very close to the motorway (you can see it as you arrive). We were aware of the traffic noise through the night particularly on the master bedroom. Overall an enjoyable stay.

Hi Laura. Really glad you enjoyed your stay. We can provide a travel cot and high chair at a small additional cost. At the time of booking if you put a request in we will make sure these are available for our guests. I will make sure this is added to our email and with Sykes. Unfortunately most parks do charge for using there facilities which we have no control over. The park have day passes which I will look into to see if that is a better option for using the facilities. We appreciate your feedback and will always look to improve all our guests stays as much as we possibly can. Thank you again for booking my lodge Tracey Property Owner

  • "WOW!!!"

The lodge is beautiful, very clean and modern and looking over the lake. Tracey the owner has thought of all the little details, there’s a basket with dog bits in (treats, toys, poo bags) dog bowls, a basket with games to play and separate towels to use for the hot tub. The only thing I could suggest is hooks in the bathrooms to hang towers on as the heated towel rails got full quickly but that’s my personal preference. The space is great, with a nice size kitchen to cook in. The kids loved that there was a telly in each room, so they could both watch what they wanted. The site that the lodge is on is nice and clean, has a lovely restaurant and you can get a family day pass for £20 to go in the pool and use the gym. All in all we had a lovely time and we will definitely be booking to stay in Gerrida Lodge again!!

Thank you so much for your lovely feedback. Really pleased you had a lovely stay in our new lodge. Look forward to seeing you again in the future. Tracey Property Owner
