The property

This fabulous cottage is positioned on a high hill 1200 ft above sea level with open views in the middle of a biological heritage moor we are in the middle of farm land with views of the Yorkshire Dales, a mile out of town to bring you a peaceful holiday away from it all.

Thoughtfully put together, this cottage is perfect for families to enjoy, or for a group of friends to come and stay, in a unique part of the country.

Be welcomed by a traditional sitting room, which comprises comfy sofas and a wood burning stove to set the scene for those cosy nights in.

Both sitting rooms and bathrooms have underfloor heating.

Open-tread stairs lead up to the first floor, revealing three bedrooms, beginning with a family suite, benefiting from access to the luxury Jack-and-Jill shower room.

Attuned to the feel of the retreat, you can make yourselves right at home in the room of your choice, there is also a mezzanine housing a double bed for a change of scenery.

Wake up to the characterful interior every day that goes by, then prepare those refreshments in the country-cottage kitchen, a lovely place to start your mornings in style.

The dining room will become your haven after the sun goes down, somewhere to gather with your loved ones under the exposed beams.

You can even relax on the comfy seating nearby, looking out towards the hot tub and your own large lawn garden with a BBQ and seating area.

A ground floor cloakroom, and a utility area complete plenty of hooks for boots and coats, finish the accommodation to a standard of quality.

The town offers lots of local shops serving an array of local produce.

With Britain's best inland urban beach, Barnoldswick is famed for its free family friendly activities.

Nearby, Skipton a lovely old market town with much to interest the enthusiastic visitor, boasting an ancient castle open to the public, a beautiful old parish church and a colourful market is all you need for a unique holiday experience.

The old market town of Barnoldswick sits amongst beautiful rolling countryside in the Pennine hills on the Lancashire/Yorkshire border, just eight miles from Skipton, the Gateway to the Yorkshire Dales. A thriving town known affectionately to locals as Barlick - lies at the very heart of England and is proud of its in manufacturing history, from a significant textile industry through to today's aero engines built at the Rolls Royce factory. Pennine cycle and bridleway routes pass through the town and the superb summit stretch of the Leeds & Liverpool canal meanders through the town and the thriving marina. Wonderful walking countryside abounds with the rolling heather moorland of Weets and Pendle hill boasting some of the finest views in the country, excellent walks along the old Roman road at Brogden Lane and the canal towpath provides great walking and cycling opportunities. The town offers lots of local shops serving an array of local produce with baked artisan loaves gracing bakers windows and locally reared meat on butchers blocks. Steam railways with regular excursions are available at Embsay and Bolton Abbey, and the Leeds to Liverpool Canal passes through Skipton with the one mile long Foulridge Tunnel and the 5-rise locks at Bingley within a short distance away.
