The property

This elegant semi-detached cottage is situated adjacent to a popular golf club and is opposite the railway station in the quiet Lancashire village of Silverdale. The cottage offers a modern sitting room with comfortable seating and a sofa bed for occasional guests, plus the well-equipped kitchen has a dining area and access through patio doors onto a lovely enclosed garden. This property has three well equipped bedrooms, a master bedroom with an en-suite shower room together with another double bedroom and a single room, all of which have HD TVs.

A family bathroom completes the accommodation. To the rear of the cottage is a simple enclosed garden with furniture where you can relax with a refreshing drink whilst planning your activities for the next day. You can explore the quiet coastal village of Silverdale and the golf club near the cottage has a bar serving food and drinks. The surrounding area is a nature lovers paradise with stunning limestone pavements and wonderful woodland walks through countryside alive with rare plants, trees and wildlife. Just a two minute walk away is the internationally renowned Leighton Moss RSPB Reserve.

Further afield, but within easy touring distance, are the Lake District and Lune Valley, the Forest of Bowland and the Yorkshire Dales There is also a stunning coastal walk between Silverdale and Arnside, with the scenery changing from the estuary landscape out to Morecambe and Barrow, to the Lakeland Fells and Kent Viaduct to elegant Grange-over-Sands across the water. This excellent cottage is ideally located for exploring this beautiful part of the country.
