  • "Fantastic property for our stay."

I was just visiting family for a few days and the location was perfect for us, with stunning views, walks and beautiful waterfalls close by. The apartment itself was immaculate, comfy and cosy, lovely beds everything provided you could need and was spotless. The owners (Paul and Wendy) couldn’t have been more helpful and just generally lovely! Thank you

  • "Great apartment, furnished to a high standard."

We were greeted with Fresh milk, eggs, cookies and a bottle of wine, a lovely surprise. The owners were friendly and welcoming. The location is fantastic, perfect for a quiet get away. Good quality wireless broadband provided which makes up for lack of phone signal. Would not hesitate to recommend.

  • "The apartment is lovely; beautifully decorated and very clean and very quiet."

The tearooms are a real bonus, too, with lovely food and very helpful hosts. Thwaite is a very small hamlet with great views and walks, and with Hawes and Kirkby Stephen not too far away (via incredible drives!). I would happily return, and thoroughly recommend.

The hosts of the hotel, Wendy and Paul, are lovely and couldn't do more for us, making our stay fantastic and extremely comfortable. The apartment was beautiful and one of the cleanest and well equipped places we've stayed. Parking was great and having the Bar and Coffee shop on site was very convenient. Highly recommended.

  • "Lovely stay albeit too short."

One of our favourite destinations. Great location for walking and escaping this world's madness. Very comfortable accommodation. Cosy and warm, except one of the bathrooms which doesn't have a radiator, so showering was a bit chilly. Owners, Phil and Wendy are extremely friendly and very helpful. We will definately return when work patterns allow.

  • "There is problem with two TVs in both bedrooms being not functioned."

Thank you for your comments, I would like to reassure guests that the TVs themselves were fine, regrettably there had been an issue with the local mast which caused TV outage in the local area and was outside my control. I would like to reassure guests that we have now also installed Freesat for the lounge TV to overcome this and there have been no reported issues since. Thank you also for the top cleanliness and comfort scores, much appreciated as we do take pride in looking after our property. Property Owner

Owners friendly welcoming and helpful. Only slight drawback could be obtaining an evening meal. Many pubs on reduced hours and requesting pre booking. We were fine as we gone prepared to do our own catering.
