Only observation would be that whilst being a bungalow and ideal for those with limited mobility, the front step is a bit difficult. A grab rail to assist in getting up would be a benefit.

The bungalow was very clean and spacious and modern. Lovely big towels, mattress protectors and pillow protectors on all beds apart from one single bed. Kitchen had everything you needed . Great welcome pack. Milk sugar tea coffee hot chocolate and biscuits, toilet roll..even molly dog had her own treat pack. Neighbours friendly. Good size garden, if you have a dog that can jump a 3 foot wall I would recommend using the back garden which is paved. Small issuse with the tv in the bedroom, was not really able to watch it due to crackling and picture breaking up. Would definitely return in the future. Thank you the Schofield Family

There are a couple of things that could be improved. Say on your listing that you provide a step up seat for the toilet and plastic plates etc for children as we wouldn't have had to take them if we knew they were there. A tumble dryer in the garage would be extremely useful for guests and you could vent it out the wall. Overall we will definitely stay again and wouldn't bring as much stuff with us as the little extras you provide are fabulous, kids games, books dvds etc. Well done overall fabulous place would recommend to all.

  • "Fantastic bungalow in great location to explore."

This is probably the best equipped and cleanest accommodation we have stayed in. Welcome pack of coffee, tea, milk etc for us and treats for our dog, even bowls for food and water just in case they'd been forgotten. Plenty of information from the owners about he accommodation, what's on in the area and useful telephone numbers. A dvd player and vast array of dvds books and games and also Netflix and amazon prime to keep you entertained on an evening or if the weather is bad. We were very lucky with the weather and even had chance to use the bbq that was supplied which was great. Comfy beds and plenty of wardrobe space and the shower was fantastic. Our favourite part was being able to ditch the car and either walk to the beach, which is 5 minutes away or take the trams into Fleetwood and Blackpool. Just a short walk of about 15 minutes down the sea front there is a pub called the Venue. It has inside and outside seating and they are very dog friendly with a separate dining area to accommodate. The food is delicious and they also do small dog meals such as chicken breast or ice cream. All in all a wonderful week away and we will definitely book again.

It was nice to arrive and help ourselves to a cup of tea and biscuit without having to shop first! The decor and furnishings were very nice including the bedding and extras, such as plenty of pillows, cushions and throws. The towels provided were of a very good quality. The bathroom was tidy and the shower was excellent. We also enjoyed the super sized tv during the evenings. Overall, a good location to do everything we wanted. The tram close by was an extra added bonus which we used daily to Blackpool and Fleetwood.

About the location

CLEVELEYS

Blackpool 4.7 miles; Preston 19.1 miles

Cleveleys is a bustling town on the Fylde Coast of Lancashire, about 4 miles north of Blackpool. There are a few interesting buildings and landmarks dotted about the town such as the Marsh Mill Windmill, an attractive part of Thornton Cleveleys heritage, and a Grade II* Listed building, which is opened as much as possible by The Friends of Marsh Mill. This is a local group foreseeing its upkeep and allowing visitors to see inside, and marvel at its fabulous and intricate workings. For car enthusiasts, the annual Cleveleys Car Show is on which hosts a wide range of vehicles including Classic Cars, Sports Cars, Modern Classics, American Cars, hot rod, kit cars and Specialist vehicles. Cleveleys seafront is just over a mile long, stretching from the boundary with Blackpool in the south at Kingsway, not far from Anchorsholme Park. Here you see the design of the sea defences, built carefully to keep the water out and prevent flooding. The promenade, cafe, water play area, artworks and easy access are very popular with visitors and local people. Jubilee Leisure Park adds fun-filled facilities with a children’s activity centre, cinema, pub and restaurant. The Affinity Shopping outlet is located next to the small and quaint, Wyre dock and marina for further opportunities to enjoy. Nearby at Blackpool, the seven-mile sandy beach and promenade offer donkey rides, fish-and-chip shops and theatres. Other landmarks include the Blackpool Tower, Blackpool illuminations, the Pleasure Beach, Sandcastle Water Park, the Winter Gardens, and Blackpool Zoo.
