“We found Nook Cottage homely, comfortable and warm with a nice atmosphere.”

Carole a very nice friendly lady who lives next door at the farm made sure we knew she was at hand if we had any problems or questions. The walks surrounding the cottage were outstanding and having two dogs just ideal although they were on the lead at all times due to the sheep and lambs nearby, except when in the cottage front garden which was secure and a lovely sun trap for sitting out having a coffee or drink. The views from the cottage windows were beautiful and the nearby coffee shop the Yew Tree had a delightful sitting area outside for a coffee and cake or scone freshly baked, we would also recommend trying the delicious Lamb Pasties. All in all a wonderful holiday at the lakes was had.
