  • "The property was really nice in a beautiful area."

Pity there is no washing machine.

  • "The property surprised with how spacious it was inside."

From the outside it does not look as big as it is. The listing states that the driveway can accommodate. 2 cars. It cannot. Only 1 car can fit on the drive but there is additional on-street parking. The fridge door did not close correctly. - This is an aftermarket fridge freezer and not the original integrated unit. This problem had been reported previously (as documented in the guest book) but it does not appear to have been fixed until I called the Sykes helpline. There were roasting tins in the oven and drawer that hadn't been cleaned. There was a broken plate at the bottom of the pile in the cupboard The toilet flush did not always work correctly - The short flush stopped working for a period of time - The last . flush did not always close hand had to be pressed 2 or 3 times more to stop the water running Besides these minor problems, the property was very comfortable and spacious enough for 5 adults and 1 child. A second bathroom downstairs would be beneficial.

  • "On arrival at Haven, we were very disappointed at the cleanliness of the property."

The Fridge smelt extremely bad. The floor and rugs didn't seem to have been cleaned. Bath was dirty. A hoover was listed to be there, but couldn't find it anywhere. We had to clean fridge and sweep and mop downstairs floor. One of the bedroom doors didn't shut properly. Once we got over that, it's a great location, very close to public transport. Lovely short walk to town. We still had a amazing time as a family of 5.

Good afternoon Joanne, We are very so sorry to hear this, if you had contacted us during your stay we would have come round straight away and rectified this for you. Our cleaners do our turn arounds and usually leave the property spotless ready for our next check in. We will be looking into this further and thank you for your feedback. Have a lovely summer and wish you all the best. Kindest regards, Property Owner. Property Owner
