    “Excellent!”

This was our first holiday with our 3 month old and The Stables was perfect for our needs, giving us a home from home. The cottage is located on a working farm and was a lovely base from which to explore the surrounding area; it also allowed us to have visits from family members from Newcastle and Cumbria. Although the weather was mixed, we still enjoyed the beautiful views, walks and attractions. ...

The cottage was spotless and the facilities were outstanding (looked just like the photos)- we had everything we needed and more. The welcome pack was a pleasant surprise and contained some extra special touches that made for a great welcome. Andrew and Melanie were great hosts- they left us to our own devices but were on hand to deal with any questions/queries that we had. Fantastic value for money!
