It really has everything you need duriong your stay, the welcome pack upon arrival was a lovely surprise including fresh orange juice, milk, butter and a bottle of prosecco - spot on as we were away for our mini-moon after getting married Sat 1st May! Parking was easy, right outside the front door which helps with unloading/loading quickly, everywhere was clean and spotless, the king size bed in the master bedroom gave us our best nights' sleep in many years!! very hot, powerful shower downstairs, all utenstils/equipment you need in the kitchen, cards/games/consoles/dvds in the lounge for evening entertainment + not forgotting the incredible hot tub at the rear with the most stunning views of the farmlamd/countryside with cattle roaming around. Highly recommend, we would definitely stay again in the future. An excellent, very convienent base also to travel from - we had our 18m old with us and so went to Hall Hill Farm, Adventure Valley, Barnard Castle, Bishop Auckland as the highlights. Thanks again to host Melanie who was very accommodating and flexible regarding early check-in and providing a high chair.
