  • "Cottage was welcoming, comfortable and clean."

We had a lovely stay. Kids loved their attic bedroom. Owner was extremely helpful when we needed help with the heating.

  • "We liked the cottage location being close to Ulverston and other important location in the South Lakes."

The neighbours were very friendly and the weather was excellent.

  • "The cottage is in a good location for the south lakes and Furness peninsula."

It is well-equipped apart from the as-mentioned cheese grater and barbeque although it would also be nice to have had a cafetiere (fortunately, we took our own). The main two bedrooms are particularly pleasant and the garden is lovely. Steve could not have been more helpful and easy to contact.

  • "Generally well equipped cottage."

Only things we missed were cheese grater, shaver socket in bathroom (or adaptor for charging shaver from 13 amp socket) and a barbecue in the garden would be a good addition.
