“Such a well maintained beautiful property.”
“Cottage was amazing, owner's on hand to quickly answer any queries.”
Definitely use Sykes Cottages again, and will definitely return to cockpit corner cottage.
“This bungalow was FABULOUS everything you could want so well appointed and comfortable, set in gorgeous countryside but only a 10 minute drive to Skipton where there are such a choice of restaurants and pubs.”
So many things to do on your doorstep, we tried to pack so much in to our week, hired bikes, Canal boat trips, Steam train rides, Fabulous Waterfall walk, and lots of hiking. still did not manage to do all we wanted so will have to come again. highly recommended.
“Fantastic house and lovely owners who were very helpful.”
We came away with friends to celebrate two birthdays and could not have asked for a better accommodation or location. The photo's do not do this property justice.
“The whole accommodation was superb - the location, the facilities, the comfort, the grounds etc etc.”
One single thing we found to be lacking was somewhere to shed and dry our wet and muddy coats and shoes after enjoying the amazing local countryside.
“Lovely house and garden, quiet area though conveniently close to Skipton.”
Great for families.
“Beautiful house and lovely owners who were very kind and humble.”
The house was exceptional, tidy modern with beautiful views. The children enjoyed it very much. Will definitely call again. Thankyou
“The house and gardens were fantastic, the owner was very helpful and friendly, the area is brilliant, would highly recommend.”
“The photos don't do justice to this spacious, well-equipped, well laid-out and interesting accommodation.”
The exterior (extensive terrace and lawns that are ideal for kids to play on) add to the generous proportions. Note that there is no shop or pub within walking distance BUT there is a fantastic farm shop just off the nearest roundabout (better than Waitrose!!!). Booking through Sykes has been very straightforward.
“The cottage is in a fantastic location i beautiful surroundings.”
Internally, it was faultless - the best holiday cottage we have ever stayed in, spacious and modern and very well equipped. Would highly recommend the cottage to our family and friends.
“Lovely spacious bungalow in a quiet location.”
Countryside views from rear patio with sheep in adjacent field and hares on the lawn. Would have been nice to have the choice of summer quilt instead of winter warmth one provided.
“5* accommodation, location and hospitality.”
Ideal for both summer and winter holidays. Owners extremely helpful.
