I am sure there will be a 3rd time in the not to distant future. Everything you need is at hand and in perfect working order. The owners are at hand if you need anything, but almost certain that you wont. Surrounding area is Beautiful, Ingleton Village has everything you need, The Pub next door is excellent with amazing food. The location is ideal for visiting the lakes and Yorkshire dales, with some fantastic walks from the Front door of the cottage. Thanks again Sue. Top class accommodation.

Well equipped, great attention to detail, very homely. The only downside, and nothing at all to do with the cottage, is that it is next to a busy road.

  • "A very homely cottage perfectly located for exploring the surrounding area."

The cottage is on a busy road but we all slept well - if you are a light sleeper then earplugs will do the trick. There is a parking space next door at the Masons Arms which is really handy. We would definitely recommend and are looking at returning next year to complete our 3 peaks challenge :-)

It was clean and well equipped. The situation is great for exploring that gorgeous part of the world and 10 minute walk from the village. It is on a main road but we knew that. Would definitely return.

  • "Really enjoyed it."

Great cottage, helpful host & exceptionally clean. Only point-it should be made clear it's on a busy road & therefore opening front bedroom windows makes it noisy in Summer

  • "The only negative which has already been mentioned by others is the extreme traffic noise as a major road runs right past the front of the cottage, however that would not prevent me from returning as the location was stunning & the cottage met all our requirements."

It was very clean & the owners, who were so friendly had provided everything that you could need & more including homemade scones & a bottle of wine on arrival.

  • "This immaculate cottage was in our (adult) daughter's summation "the best we've ever stayed in"."

The layout was excellent and the stairs were not too steep. The welcome pack of wine, milk and scones was much appreciated, as was the "en-suite pub". There was ample clothes storage in all the bedrooms and the beds were extremely comfortable. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

We spent a few hrs cleaning before leaving and called Sue to see if there were any issues, she was pleased with how we left the house, in a nutshell, great house great owners, and next door to a pub!!!!

  • "We were all very impressed with this cottage."

There is very little the owners could do to improve it. My porridge and cereal eating companions would have liked slightly larger, microwaveable cereal bowls and I would have quite liked an egg whisk but we are really scratching around for something to suggest here! The road is quite noisy so it is difficult to sleep when the windows are open but we appreciate this is not within the owner's control. All being well we would very much like to come back this time next year. Best wishes Jane Lithgow

The information provided is 100% correct, excellent value for money. The road noise was greater than I personally expected as I had no idea how busy the road is being a light sleeper I found my nights disturbed but it did not effect my children at all so ild be bringing ear plugs next time! Fabulous cottage, lovely owners & extras ... we will be back.

  • "Very comfortable, clean and well furnished cottage."

Had a lovely week with my three boys and partner. The owners were very welcoming and took the time to meet us at the cottage and show us around. Scones, chocolates and milk on arrival were very much appreciated. My boys (aged 7, 5 and 3) thoroughly enjoyed playing the board games and watching the DVDs that were available. Well situated to reach lots of local attractions. We visited Ingleborough Caves, White Scar Caves and Malham Cove. We also did the train and boat combined ticked from Haverthwaite to Bowness which my boys loved. There was loads more that we would have loved to do but we ran out of time! Some people have commented on the road the house is situated on being very noisy, but we didn't find it a problem at all. There is parking available on the road outside the house or there is a parking space available in the pub next door. Wouldn't hesitate to book this cottage again and can't recommend it highly enough. Thanks again :)
