The property

This fabulous lodge is on an award-winning holiday park on the shores of Lake Windermere in the stunning Lake District National Park.

The accommodation at this charming lodge sweeps across the ground floor, including two comfortable bedrooms with TVs, a family bathroom and an open-plan living area with a well-equipped kitchen, dining area and sitting area.

French doors open onto the sunny decking, which wraps itself around the lodge and features a fabulous hot tub.

Relax and soak away your troubles after a long day out walking.

A spiral staircase leads to the private roof terrace, offering lovely views across the park.

The site offers excellent facilities for you to use, including a heated indoor swimming pool, sauna and gym, as well as a restaurant with takeaway service, bar, children's play park and multi-use games area.

With its setting on the shores of Lake Windermere, there are lots of lovely walks around the area and less than half a mile away is Brockhole, the National Park Visitor Centre, which has extensive gardens and a tree-top adventure course to enjoy.

Bowness-on-Windermere is just five minutes' drive away and has a variety of shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy.

This lodge is an ideal base for everyone, being surrounded by beautiful scenery, with a host of activities ranging from kayaking to mountain biking, or for a quieter stay, the chance to simply sit back and relax.
