Overall we had a good time. We arrived Christmas Eve and left the day after Boxing Day. The onsite facilities were fab although we knew would be limited due to the Christmas period which was no problem at all. However, knowing that it would be quiet over Christmas and the fact that the lodge had a DVD player, we took DVDs to watch while we were away. Rather disappointed to find the DVD player still isn't working despite it being reported over 12 months ago. Also, the lodge is advertised as sleeping 7 which it does but there are only 6 chairs around the table. These may seem simple issues but caused problems due to the fact that we wanted to all sit together for our Christmas dinner. The hot tub was fab and ithad lovely decorations for Christmas. The lodge also has a lovely homely, cosy feel which we loved. We would recommended this property but think some improvements need to be made.
