From the patio you may even see deer; what a spot to unwind after another day in the beautiful Lake District!

The holiday park of White Cross Bay offers so much choice, including a fabulous indoor heated swimming pool, spa and gym, as well as a children's play area and marina.

Why not take a night off from cooking and end the day with a meal at the on-site restaurant or lounge bar?

White Cross Bay is an excellent base for exploring this magical area, which is surrounded by mountains and valleys, miles of mature forest, endless lakes and coastal shores.

For family adventures, Brockhole Visitor Centre is nearby and has exciting treetop challenges, whilst one of the top attractions in the area is the Windermere Lake Cruises, which provide magnificent views of the mountains, the secluded bays and many wooded islands.

Explore The World of Beatrix Potter, then take the scenic ferry across the lake and visit Hill Top in Far Sawrey.

This is an all year round destination, from Wordsworth's host of golden daffodils in the springtime, relaxing on a boat on lazy sunny days to a blaze of golden copper in the autumn and snow-capped peaks framed by azure blue skies in winter.
