The property

This outstanding detached log cabin is situated in the South Lakeland Leisure Village just two miles from Carnforth and just a short drive from the Lake District National Park.

The Hiding Place is a larger than average lodge and benefits from a modern interior with beautiful tiling, oak laid floors and all those little extra touches throughout that make for a first class holiday home.

There are three delightful bedrooms, one with en-suite facilities, an open plan living area, useful utility area, and a fabulous main bathroom with all three bedrooms having a TV, making this beautiful lodge an ideal retreat for a family and friends.

The main living area consists of a modern well-designed kitchen, a dining area and a spacious sitting area with leather suite looking out across the full-length patio windows to the decked area and the lake, some twenty yards beyond.

Set on a 43 acre site, the South Lakeland Leisure Village has repeatedly been awarded the prestigious David Bellamy Gold Conservation Award since 2009 and is very close to some of England’s most scenic areas.

The natural beauty of Arnside and Silverdale, an Area of Natural Beauty is just 5 miles to the west, the Lake District National Park is 10 miles to the north, the Yorkshire Dales is 15 miles to the east and Morecambe Bay is just 8 miles to the south.

On the site a visit to The Water’s Edge, a family restaurant serving traditional British dishes as well as Mediterranean, Indian and Italian favourites and with a beer garden attached to the restaurant is well worth a visit.

Why not treat yourself to a beauty treatment or relax in the bar and enjoy the lovely view across the man-made lake.

This is a great location to relax and unwind, enjoy the local walks, have a day in the Spa or simply sit back on the decking and enjoy a good book.
