    “Had a lovely stay at Coars Farm to celebrate a 60th Birthday.”

    The farm house was perfect for our large group of 9 adults , one baby and 2 dogs. A travel cot and high chair were provided for our youngest member. ...

    The farm house was perfect for our large group of 9 adults , one baby and 2 dogs. A travel cot and high chair were provided for our youngest member. The house though huge was so very warm and cosy. There is a log burner in the main lounge but we didn’t need it. The large porch with racking is just right for coats and muddy boots and as a beer / wine store. It’s quirky as the house is on the same site as a garden centre/cafe and reclamation barn. Lots of parking and our dogs enjoyed exploring the grounds. The gates are locked from 5p.m but a key is supplied to get in and out. There is a double oven, though we couldn’t work out how to use the top one. The 2 fridges were great, we needed them both for our large party. We had a Tesco Food order delivered straight to the farm with no problem. All in all we had a really great celebration weekend at Coars Farm, and would definitely return.

A spacious, stylish detached house adjoining the original unused barn, 200 yards from the garden centre and tea room, near the village of Wigglesworth in North Yorkshire.

Being in the Ribble Valley and on the edge of Bowland Forrest, making this a great place for a group of friends to come and enjoy a relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle.

Coars Farm comes with a large, pristine kitchen with modern fixtures and fittings.

Also on the ground floor there's two seating areas with a dining area, large, comfortable seating, a TV, spectacular woodburning stove, making the perfect relaxing area for the bad weather days.

Even if it is raining, there is a garden centre with a café on-site for you to enjoy at your leisure.

The first floor of Coars Farm comes with four spacious, bright and airy bedrooms with fresh decor, clothing storage and some lovely views towards the surrounding countryside.

One of the bedrooms has a large, luxury en-suite with a bath and separate shower.

The family bathroom is sizeable and very stylish with contemporary colours and fixtures adding a fresh feeling.

There is a delightful front patio area with delightful furniture, there is also a front lawn, perfect for children to run and play in the sun.

Wigglesworth sits in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with a well-respected pub/restaurant as well as having some fantastic views, a good base for exploring this incredible area.Gisburn Forest is a short distance away with a massive biking area to enjoy.

The popular town of Skipton is within driving distance.

A fantastic market town with a great range of shops as well as stunning buildings.

Coars Farm is a fascinating property in an excellent location, to enjoy walking in the Dales with easy links to the lakes as well as exploring Bowland Forrest.

Grassington 9 miles; Harrogate 20 miles.

Known as “The Gateway to the Dales”, Skipton is well placed for visiting all that the Dales has to offer, whilst York, the Lake District and the West Coast are also within easy motoring distance. This lovely market town has much to interest the enthusiastic visitor, boasting an ancient castle open to the public, a beautiful old parish church and a colourful market occupying the cobbled setts each side of the high street. In 2008 the Academy of Urbanism voted the High Street the best shopping spot in Britain, and The Copper Dragon/Greyhawk Brewery is highly rated in the CAMRA listings. Steam railways with regular excursions are available at Embsay and Bolton Abbey, and the Leeds to Liverpool Canal passes through Skipton with the 1 mile long Foulridge Tunnel and the 5-rise locks at Bingley within a short travel. Golf, swimming, squash, tennis and snooker are all available locally and the excellent public transport means the car can be left at home!
