    “Lovely family get away”

We stayed here for a week with my family there was 7 of us and my dog who stayed here comfortably. The cottage gives you a full rural Yorkshire experience. The cottage is comfortable and clean. The cottage is next to the garden centre and the reclamation centre. Access to the cottage is via the garden centre and the garden centre is locked up in the evening which make it secure. The cottage is large providing you with plenty of space there is a large kitchen, dining area and living room with a pool table, upstairs there are four large bedrooms one with en-suite and a large family bathroom. I’ve read some reviews which state these areas as a negative but it’s what the owners can’t control but be aware of; The WiFi is rubbish they are currently in the process of having fibre installed but the whole area is like this (three farmers have made an arrangement and this is the last area) The cottage is very rural - there aren’t any pubs or shops (apart from the garden centre) in walking distance, the roads are too narrow and there isn’t any paths to safely walk so you have to drive everywhere. There is a nack to the hot water and heating - ask the owners to show you since they are daily on site running the garden centre. Note to dog owners - the garden is not secure but the area is, my dog is pretty good so didn’t wonder off. Tips for the owners; - there needs to be a better folder on site for users off the cottages which provides tips of the local area and explains the cottage (such as how to use central heating). There is a folder on site but it’s old and tatty and has about 3 pages inside. - the kitchen is well equipped but could be better there were only just enough glasses for 7 of us - blankets need a good wash This holiday was fab I love the rural life I love the peace and quiet and I loved my dog just trotting around. The garden is lovely and we enjoyed a bbq in the warm weather (bbq at cottage). At night it was lovely to sit out and watch the bats flying round. We made so many lovely family memories here. All in all well done to you - I would happily rush back since there is still so much more for me to see!
