“Lovely surroundings in a very comfortable Lodge.”

My son and myself and the two dogs enjoyed it very much. My son is in in palliative care for cancer and this was his Wishlist and it was fulfilled to his satisfaction. Gave good memories.

What did you enjoy most about your stay? Peaceful and quiet surroundings What one experience (e.g attraction, walk, day out) would you recommend for our future guests? This property is part of the Lake District Lodge Holidays collection.
From the moment you arrive in the Lake District there is a huge choice of activities and things to see as you take in Britain’s latest World Heritage Site – it’s the only National Park to be recognised for such status.

The property

Fellside Retreat is situated on Limefitt Park in the Troutbeck Valley, four miles from Windermere.

The lodge is centrally located and allows guests to enjoy the beautiful scenery on a large deck boarded by a Lakeland stone wall.

The lodge was refurbished in 2018 and offers guests a modern yet relaxing feeling.

The lodge sleeps 4 guests plus an infant in a travel cot so is perfect for couples or families.

With a well equipped kitchen, open living and dining area and a family bathroom, there is everything you need to unwind.

The park location is perfect for a day on the fells with your four legged friend or visiting nearby villages; return to relax in the comfort of Fellside Retreat.

Wherever you are on the Park, you’ll enjoy nature and woodlands, and the Trout Beck runs through the park; there is even a picnic area, near the children’s playground.

There’s also a pub on site, and a small shop.

From the Park, you can also walk through the fields to the fabulous pub The Queens Head, and round the corner to the Mortal Man.

If log fires, real ales and great food are your thing, you’ll be happy!

Ten miles over the Kirkstone pass you will come to the beautiful Ullswater passing some quaint villages on your journey.

A wonderful place to enjoy your Lake District retreat.
