  • "I have to say the apartment was everything I expected."

The apartment was comfortable, cosy with ample space. The heating being on three times during the day made the apartment very cosy. With available wifi it was almost like home from home. The apartment was very central to all facilities and transport. I had a very relaxing week and would definitely return in the future.

Thank you for your lovely feed back we as owners love staying there too Property Owner

  • "Peter Rabbits Burrow is well positioned apartment for exploring Windermere & rest of the Lakes."

If you’re used to urban living & want coffee shops, restaurants & shops on your doorstep, this immaculate & comfortable apartment will be perfect. However, if you’re looking for a quiet & peaceful break, don’t book here! Peter Rabbits Burrow is above the Coop & unfortunately you can hear the coming and goings of the shop, as well as the shutters being opened super early! We stayed over Friday & Saturday night & were disturbed both nights by groups of lads / girls on their nights out. If I could’ve picked this apartment up & popped it on a quieter street, it would’ve been absolutely perfect! The apartment was super clean & has everything you need (however no washing machine, which would be a disappointment for me if we were staying longer). Also although it says towels provided, they’re tiny, so I’d suggest you bring a couple of baths towels with. And also if you like some plump pillows, bring your own. There are only two pillows on each bed (obviously personal preference, but something I would’ve liked to have known about before we arrived). Apartment is beautiful furnished & extremely spacious & the beautiful Christmas tree was a lovely surprise!

Thank you for your feedback, we are so pleased you liked the apartment. Some pillows were removed from the apartment due to reducing contact points, however we will replace these to ensure guest comfort going forwards. There are times when the village becomes much quieter, we apologise you were disturbed by outside noise. Property Owner

  • "A minor niggle was the kitchen tap, it has not been securely fixed and moves when you turn on/off."

A problem that Sykes could not control was noise from the flat upstairs. The first night was ok, but the last two nights the occupants were very loud and played music until 2am. The second night we made them aware and the noise did lessen.

  • "I think one thing that would be good is to maybe leave a note to say the food menu's and brochures are in the top draws of the front room, we only found that out on the last day haha!"

But we had a really love time and the place was very cosy and comfy!

  • "The team were really informative and friendly."

We got to know the ladies in the shop in Windermere (which was just opposite the apartment) by sight and they were extremely helpful. The location was great and we will be sure to put up a review of the location as it is brand new. Fab stay aided (a little bit) by fab weather!
