  • "A beautiful spacious static on a lovely peaceful relaxing site."

We enjoyed our stay at Troutbeck 7, White Cross Bay very much, the lodge had everything you needed for your stay and more, the only niggle I had was the mould along bottom of shower door which could have been addressed easily, on our first morning before making our cooked breakfast I had to clean the grill pan which had clearly been used and left by the previous occupants, and an empty coke bottle under one of the single beds, none of these things deterred us from having a very pleasant break or from booking again in the future.

Thank you for your comments. We are sorry to hear of the issues that you experienced with the cleanliness of the property, had you made us aware during your stay we would have attended to resolve the issues. We will ask our Housekeeping Team to ensure that our high standards continue to be met. We hope to welcome you again. The Lake District Lodge Holidays Owner Relations Team Property Owner

  • "The property was adequate for the three nights we stayed."

It was ideal for parking two cars also the outside space would have been ideal but didn’t get to use it because of the weather. The instructions were very straightforward for collecting the keys. There were only a few negatives about the property. The double bed was a little uncomfortable as the sheet kept coming off the mattress. The blinds in the bathrooms were quite dusty and also some of the glasses weren’t clean.

Thank you for your comments. We are glad that you had an enjoyable stay. We will follow up your comments with our Housekeeping Team. Thank you- The Lake District Lodge Holidays Owner Relations Team. Property Owner

  • "£40 for the baths for 2 adults and 2 kids for 2 days was an unwelcomed add on."

It seemed more like a static caravan in size, compared to the other lodges that we have stayed on on this site, neverthe less it was big enough and comfortable. The mold on the shower door could have been removed using Kilrock spray and the grill had to be balanced on oven pans to cook breakfast.

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, we are not liable for the park fees. We have raised the mould concern with the cleaning team. We are glad that you found the property comfortable. Property Owner

  • "On arrival the toilet/shower room smelt of dampness."

The microwave was quite dirty inside. On leaving and stripping the beds we noticed that the double duvet was quite badly soiled/stained. One of the pillows was quite yellow stained also. Property was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay

Thank you for your feedback. We are glad you enjoyed your overall stay. Your comments have been passed on and will be looked into further. We hope to welcome you back soon. The owner relations team - Lake District Lodge Holidays Property Owner

  • "A lovely little holiday home."

Was cleaned as best as could. But definitely needs a deep. Clean in some places. I didn't realise when I booked dogs where allowed. I didn't have a dog. And the caravan stank of dog. No towels provided only hand towels. So I had to get towels from reception for us as as family for 5. But has everything one needs really to enjoy holiday. Also in a lovely location too.
