Find peaceful rest upstairs in one of three bedrooms; a double with sleigh bed and a charming dressing table to get ready at each morning, a further double and a bunkroom that would be ideal for younger guests, all sharing use of the tiled family bathroom.

Be sure to spend time in the garden, with a large lawn area that children and pets can run on freely, and sit back with a refreshing drink as you soak up the open countryside that surrounds you, perhaps even spotting a Red Kite or two, and round off a summer's day with a delicious barbecue dinner.

Walkers will relish this enviable location, with direct access to the Viking Way long-distance walking path, which spans 147 miles all the way to Oakham in Rutland.

Less than 10 minutes from the property, you will find the historic stately home of Belvoir Castle, which proudly stands on the hilltop and boasts remarkable views over thousands of acres.

The Vale of Belvoir, which is centred around the castle, is a wonderful gem of country pubs, coffee shops and access to a plethora of fantastic walking, cycling and horse riding opportunities, as well as being within easy reach of Burghley House, whose gardens were designed by Capability Brown.

Spend time exploring the National Trust's 17th century Belton House, complete with gardens and a boat house, and learn more about the town's heritage at Grantham Museum.
