  • "An absolutely lovely cottage!"

You can tell a lot of love and care has gone into the home - all the extra little touches were brilliant and made us feel very welcome. We'd definitely love to stay again and would recommend it to our friends too. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

The cottage was beautiful and the garden was perfect for Maisie our German Shepherd dog. It was safely enclosed for her to play. Very close to amenities coop shop about a mile. Doctors surgery and pharmacy also about a mile from Wagon Shed. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you so much too Richard and Helen.

  • "This is a gem of a cottage."

So comfortable and cosy. Everything we could want: kitchen equipment, games, books, cosy corners and a fabulous garden. There’s been attention to detail, lovely examples of craft and art to look at so it feels like a country cottage ought to. Garden borders are well stocked with plants and flowers and places to sit quietly and not overlooked - a joy to a fellow gardener. Plus a lovely welcome pack for us and the dogs. We found this cottage by accident, last minute and, as it’s new, I suspect that when we want to return - because there’s plenty to do in the area/ we’ll have to book well in advance. Been with Sykes for 10+ years and recommend this place
