  • "We really enjoyed our stay, the chalet was lovely, everything you needed for a lovely break away."

Thank you, we really appreciate your feedback. We have plans to replace the bathroom lino once the property closes for the winter and other works that cannot be completed during the holiday season. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay. Property Owner

  • "Had a wonderful couple of days at the Chalet with fantastic weather, loved the peace and quiet and the easy walk to a beautiful beach."

Would happily return. It would be good to know the keysafe is round the back of the property and we did struggle with the keys! Maybe the heat affected the locks a bit, it would be helpful if they were marked to show which key was for which door as well. A lovely chalet, very clean, comfortable, pretty and spacious thank you

  • "The location is great."

We loved Anderby Creek. We were disappointed that previous feedback from other customers had not resulted in improvements with the property. For example, even though the bathroom leak has been sorted, the stained flooring led to us being unsure for some time. It wouldn’t cost much to replace the lino. Also, the lack of freezer. It would be easy to add a freezer into the porch area for example. Both of these have been mentioned by previous customers. I would suggest that more than one toilet roll should be provided and a spare bin bag. A couple of dishwasher tablets wouldn’t go amiss as it encourages occupants to leave crockery and cutlery clean. We would have appreciated more than 2 wine glasses.

  • "Would go back if they had a freezer x few things need looking at the bathroom floor was water damaged and they need a bath mat as the bath is very slippery and you need grab handles to get in and out the bath the sink plug was faulty."

The bedroom -when you got in bed there was a smell of damp probably from the bathroom floor. Also a loose plug socket in the conservatory. But overall just a freezer or table top freezer and a few cosmetic things just glad the weather was ok as we would of struggled with the water going warm earlier in the day I like to freeze the water so it takes all day to defrost x

Thank you for your feedback. We have recently changed our maintenance contractor who has began work on the items you have raised. The bathroom floor was scheduled for repair during a break in bookings and has now been fixed. We will certainly look at obtaining a small freezer for the property. Property Owner

  • "A cottage that could be 10/10 with a little TLC."

Kitchen lounge area and bedrooms very good. The shower was excellent better than my own, I would advise next visitors read the information book left by the owners. There was on several occasions a noise (loud) coming from a pump that was cured by turning a tap on. Couldn’t use the patio at the back of the house as it was covered in bird droppings. However it wouldn’t stop us going again as the area was v nic. A bit of TLC is all that is needed.

Thank you for your feedback. We have recently changed our maintenance contractor who is spending more time on the property to ensure that we can keep it as tip top as possible. The birds do seem to like the patio so we will give this extra attention. Property Owner

  • "Disappointing not to be told when booking this property is up for sale."

Great location to walk dog on beach and watch time go by. Good facilities around for eats and drinks. Shower is pretty unusable even after following the fix guidance in the documentation. Place needs a lot of love and care, and a general external tidy up, bins especially. In summary the area is great but won’t be going back to this property or booking through Sykes, or its many alternatively named companies, again.

  • "The beach was actually a walk away not 150 metres (7 minutes ) and the key box is not easy to find as it is on a shed."

Brilliant place to stay regardless of this. A small freezer would help as well.

  • "Absolutely loved this place in Anderby creek."

Stayed for 5 nights. Lovely clean property and very comfortable. 5 mins walk from the beach. Very quiet and lovely neighbours. Would defs stay again and recommend. Only issue we had is the cooker was quite temperamental and needed re setting every time we used it to be able to use it. Plus a big thing for us was no freezer or freezer compartment in the fridge. I like to take pre prepared meals with us and with no freezer at all had to hope my frozen home made meals were ok after a few days in the fridge. Not even able to freeze some ice cubes for our drinks and was very hot! But wouldn’t stop us booking again. Defs a 9/10 from us x

It would be nice to have somewhere to hang coats in the foyer especially if it rains The instructions for the recycling are vague and would be helpful to know when to put which bin out ( we did as we saw the neighbours bin out ) Otherwise a great place to stay excellent all round will definitely be booking again
