  • "Wasnt clean."

For example the kitchen cupboard shelves were dirty, mugs were stained, cutlery draw was dirty etc. Got the impression that initially it had been fitted out very well but has been allowed to get tatty and dirty over time. The fitted bed sheet must have been quite old as it was bobbly, and we could easily see thick dust under the bed. Disappointed.

hank you for your review and we are sorry you found reason to complain. We have dealt with the items of concern and we are pleased you were happy with the rest of the property Property Owner

  • "Originally had booked a different cottage and when I arrived was advised it was double booked by owner and that Sykes had been informed the day after I booked."

Owner contacted Sykes who were very apologetic and arranged another cottage near by by. Both owners were excellent and very helpful. Mistakes happen and Sykes were very quick to resolve the issue. Clare’s cottage was excellent, highly recommended
