  • "Lovely quiet location."

Very comfortable. We would have appreciated a small lamp in living area to save having all the main lighting on when watching tv. We were a little surprised one Henry the hoover was shared between the 3 properties, especially during these times, luckily we didn’t all want to vacuum at the sme time before we left our accomodation!

  • "Really relaxing, peaceful."

Everything you need, just a short car journey. Dogs loved it. My son fished every day in the lake.

  • "Cottage locked on arrival and owner nowhere to be found, purely by chance after hanging around for about 3/4 hour the owners returned home and saw us outside."

The other main issue was the smell from the plugholes of the sink in the kitchen & basin in the bathroom.

  • "Our hosts were around but unintrusive, which was ideal for us as we chose this farm for peace and quiet."

We really enjoyed the surroundings both on the farm, with the patio area for our cottage, the shared garden, the fishing lake. My husband went fishing most days, often for two visits, and really felt he’d had a good break. Our dog Charlie also had the best holiday of his life, yomping round the lake on our local walks and stretching his legs on the beaches nearby.
