“The property was lovely, however it was advertised as having wifi which was not the case, lights were out in the kitchen and decking area, there wasnt a clear view of the "pond" as shown in the photos of the advertisement, only one balcony door was easy to open and the other was a bit stiff, cobwebs were hanging in quite a few places, toaster was broken.”

Attempted to rectify these issues with sykes and an advisor told me they would call me back 2 days into the 5 day holiday - i have been home now for 2 days and still no phone call. Bought guest passes under the belief that it included the activities on site but all the passes got us was access to the building where the arcade and bars were, everything else required additional payments. We were told that we had to book experiences online but were unable to and when discussing this with staff on site we were told that most activities were booked already for the next month. The adventure golf was also closed for refurbishment, which we were not advised of upon arrival, also on a Monday is apparently staff change over day so things like the peddalos etc were all closed and i think the only experience we had available all day was a nerf challenge. In total, whilst it was nice to get away and the park and property are totally seperate from each other as it is a private owner the property belongs to, we were left feeling disappointed and like it wasnt worth the 5 hour drive to get there. When we asked my daughter what her favourite part of the holiday was she said : "feeding the ducks because there wasnt really anything else to do". One major plus, which came as a recommendation from the property owner was to have dinner in a pub/restuarant 200m away from the property called Tattershall park - the food was absolutely delicious and staff were very helpful and welcoming so id recommend going there for food. Other than that, sadly i dont see us returning to this site again.
