This Victorian farmhouse is situated within 150 private acres of beautiful, breathtaking countryside, on the owners’ farm near Belchford in the lovely Lincolnshire Wolds.

The farmhouse retains many original features and offers spacious and tasteful accommodation making it the perfect venue for family groups to spend time together in a beautiful part of the country.

The bespoke, well-equipped and sociable kitchen has a range cooker with double oven and also features an AGA, which is for decoration only.

There is a breakfast area as well as a dining table large enough to seat all guests for a delicious home-cooked meal.

This spacious home has plenty of space to relax in, with a comfortable sitting room with woodburning stove, a cosy library and a delightful orangery which offers stunning views across the fishing lake and towards the Wolds.

There are four comfortable bedrooms on the first floor, one benefiting from an en-suite bathroom, as well as a further double bedroom with a TV on the ground floor.

A spacious family bathroom with a bath and separate shower, as well as the ground floor cloakroom will ensure there are enough facilities for all.

Outside, there is a large lawned garden, where children can play whilst you enjoy the sunshine and take in the fresh county air and wonderful views.

For a totally relaxing day, guests are able to make use of the private fishing lake; just remember to bring your own rods and equipment.

Flintwood Farm is environmentally friendly and is a wildlife haven to many species including pedigree Dexter cattle, Southdown sheep, rich chalk grassland, ancient woodlands, wetlands, ponds and 30 acres of wildflower meadow all linked together with five miles of permissive walks.

The property is also a birdwatchers paradise, along with those who wish to stargaze as there's the benefit of no light pollution.

The site has also amassed many interesting historical facts, as well as archeology interest with the famous Juice Trump Hill being on the land.

Nearby is the market town of Horncastle, home to a lovely church and a selection of interesting antiques and bric-a-brac shops.

The ancient city of Lincoln is also within reach, offering lots to see including the imposing cathedral and castle, as well as a fine selection of shops, pubs and restaurants.

Also within easy driving distance are the vibrant seaside resorts of Skegness and Sutton-on-Sea, offering a wide range of holiday and leisure attractions.

Belchford is a small village situated 4.4 miles north of Horncastle in the Lincolnshire Wolds, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The steep hills and deep valleys which surround the village make it a popular destination for walkers, cyclists and those just wishing to enjoy the beauty of Tennyson Country. The well-known Viking Way is a long distance footpath covering 147 miles.
