  • "One of the best cottages we have stayed in."

Very well equipped, especially the kitchen which I appreciated as we cooked in several evenings. Superb welcome basket and several nice touches, toothbrushes and toothpaste in the bathroom, just in case, a vase of fresh roses by the bedside. Good position for exploring the area. Would be good to have private parking but we managed ok.

So convenient with takeaways and grocery food shopping a couple of minutes walk yet it was very quiet and peaceful. We would definitely recommend as a base. Easy to get to York, the coast and Lincoln which is well worth a trip. Found great walks from our door.
