The property

Nestled by a fishing lake in a quiet holiday park, in Marston, Lincolnshire, is this quaint detached lodge, Lake Haven.

Upon entering the property, you will be enveloped by the open-plan living space, where a a stylish sitting area awaits, kick off your shoes and stretch out on the plush sofas as you watch your favourite show on the Smart TV; be sure to swing open the patio doors to bring in those lakeside views.

The kitchen is close-by and showcases duo-tone fittings that hosts a great range of appliances that any foodie would be happy with, including a handy dishwasher!

When dinner is ready, savour it at the round dining table whilst you discuss the day's events.

As the day draws to a close, continue through the lodge to find two fabulous bedrooms, one being a twin enjoying built-in storage and pretty, pink detailing, and the other being a double enjoying a tropical theme and access to an en-suite shower room.

The family bathroom makes for a great relaxation spot, boasting a bath with shower over, where you can soak up after a day packed with countryside walks.

The enclosed decking is where you can dine alfresco, or simply savour a steaming cup of coffee as you marvel at the peaceful vista; why not spend the afternoon fishing, as the property benefits from its own pier.

The small village of Marston lies in the South Kesteven district of Lincolnshire, with a Grade I listed Anglican parish church dedicated to St Mary, and of 12th-century origin. The village also boasts a church hall, the Thorold Arms public house and a fishery, as well as The Ramada Resort hotel. Newark-on-Trent is a market town to the north of Marston, in the Sherwood District of Nottinghamshire, boasting one of the finest Georgian market squares in the UK. Grantham is the nearest large town in the heart of Lincolnshire, with a fine Gothic guildhall and pretty riverside walks.
