  • "Amazing property, really comfortable and great for the dog with a separate enclosed garden."

Owner was very friendly and on hand for anything we needed and loved the nice touches left for us on arrival.

  • "Wonderful stay at The Coach House, beautifully renovated and kitchen well equipped."

Lovely welcoming touches. Only slight issue was staying with 3 children as seating together to eat was a bit tricky as only a small folding table to eat at. There is however a lovely outside dining table but it wasn't quite warm enough to use during our stay although we did enjoy breakfast out in the garden one morning. Hosts were very accommodating, particularly when I managed to forget something not once but twice!! Garden nice and secure for our dog too.

We enjoyed the garden & watching the new lambs in the adjacent field & the planes coming into land at RAF Cranwell all from the comfort of the lounge. Also one of the best welcome hampers with complimentary drinks we have ever had! The beds were extremely comfortable too.

  • "The Coach House was a great place to stay for the week."

The care that has gone into making sure the house is comfortable and well equipped is second to none. The outside space was brilliant and safe for our 2 dogs. Our hosts were next door and were only ever a phone call away if we had needed anything. I can strongly recommend The Coach House as a lovely, clean and comfortable place to stay. The welcome basket was very thoughtful and much appreciated too.

This is a brilliant holiday cottage that left nothing to chance. The owners were very welcoming on arrival, and then let us be, which was great. A really good base for exploring Boston and Lincoln and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, this was an amazing find. Our greyhound loved it too!

  • "Great property in a lovely location."

The property owner was very helpful and left some lovely goodies for when we arrived. We were a group of friends with young children and it was a perfect size for us. The upper level bedroom is accessed by narrow steep stairs so worth noting when booking but it didn’t impact our stay. Thank you.

  • "Brilliant design throughout [hence the official Building Regulators recognition received], the property is well above a five star rating."

There is nothing missing and you could easily spend all your time indoors. The outdoor [garden] area is well suitable for your pets and it is enclosed, therefore no need to worry if you have a more "exploring" dog. The place is well heated and the underfloor heating does help a lot. Well done to the owners who put a lot of effort and heart in this place.

Views across open countryside are wonderful offering some beautiful sunrises. If the squirrels don’t entertain you during your stay the aircraft landing at near by RAF Cranwell will. The owners could not have been more hospitable.

Very dog friendly with enclosed garden which was perfect for our sausage dog. Bain- Calladine party December 2021

  • "Lovely cottage close to Lincoln."

Description and pictures are a true likeness to the cottage. A lovely welcome pack on arrival was much appreciated. Some constructive feedback for an even better stay would be a mirror in the bedrooms for hair and make up. Blinds in the top bedroom so you are not awake the moment the sun comes up. The owners dogs, although lovely barked in the evening outside our bedroom window resulting in our baby waking up every night. Bottom of the showers need a good clean. Overall a good stay and would definitely recommend.

I am delighted that you enjoyed your stay and that you would 'definitely recommend' the Coach House to others. It is a lovely place that has been enjoyed by many. We will take on board your comments! Thank you Property Owner

  • "A brilliant week away in this cottage was had!"

Everything you need and more. A nice touch by the owners leaving some well needed complimentary refreshments on arrival after a stressful drive! A nice well maintained and modern cottage set in a nice quiet location easily accessible to various places to visit. Our two dogs loved the space and was a bonus the garden was dog friendly and the pooches couldn’t escape. The only thing we would recommend would be to have a more comfortable settee and seating. Not the best for elderly and those with bad backs. Apart from that, an excellent stay and we would definitely recommend to family and friends. Thanks very much!

  • "Having spent a week at the Coach House with our dog we would thoroughly recommend a stay here."

The Coach House itself is not only comfortable and well equipped but the attention to detail makes it a lovely place to return to after exploring Lincolnshire or to just relax and enjoy the surroundings. David and Richard (the owners) are very warm and welcoming and available if any help or advice is required. The village of Cranwell is very pleasant and we found the residents very friendly;the shop and tea room in the centre of the village are lovely. Although there isn’t a regular bus service road links to various parts of Lincolnshire are good. We have every intention of returning to explore more and the Coach House will be our first choice as a base.

Very well presented and very well fitted out and furnished. It was perfectly situated for us being close to family and also very convenient for trips into Sleaford for day to day shopping. In addition within 30 minutes drive into Lincoln. The property owners David and Rick were also extremely helpful - nothing was too much trouble for them. We will definitely try to rent this property again on our next visit to Lincolnshire and have already recommended it to two of our friends.

David and his partner were great hosts - not intrusive but happy to help whenever we needed. The village is quite small but had a great playing field to take the dog for a run around in and we met some lovely and friendly locals doing the same thing with their dogs. Drive to the Wolds and Louth is definitely worth it as is a day/half day out in Stamford.

We were greeted by a very friendly owner, who actually lives right next door PERFECT for any questions and recommendations, nothing was too much for them. Upon opening the property we discovered a lovely welcome letter with local recommendations and a gorgeous complimentary hamper, and drinks :) The Coach house was incredibly clean and well finished, contained 2 very well sized double bedrooms, each with en-suite facilities. We had 2 dogs with us, and when we left the property for part of the day where they couldnt accompany us, we were at ease leaving them given the added security of electric gates to the front of the property. The rear garden was lovely, private and fully enclosed.....one of our pups loves taking herself away on impromptu adventures! but not this weekend!! Highly recommended and not one negative incident experienced the whole weekend. We'll certainly be back at some point, just perfect.

I think sometimes you get to stay in nice places but this have everything including scenery, a home from home feel, a charm about it that make you not want to leave. To add to all of the pleasant aesthetics and physical enjoyment of this property, David is such a great guy and in some respects the thing that links it all together with his genuine kindness and welcoming nature - to add, David didn’t intervene with us or anything like that but was around if ever needed and equally as with the beauty of the cottage, he was a great person to have around and really did add to our stay.
