"Fantastic place it's a shame the hot tub wasn't working but understand why."
The new owners are fantastic and couldn't do enough for us.
-
"Lovely property, very enjoyable weekend, would definitely go again!"
-
"Tracey was absolutely lovely."
Unfortunately though, there is a dispute between her and the neighbouring property. The house is beautiful and fully accommodates 16 people very comfortably but we were told to turn our music down from 10 o’clock onwards on a Friday night which we didn’t think was unreasonable due to it being a party house. The only request on the website was that we vacated the hot tub by 11 which we did and fully respected all the rules. Such a shame as it is a beautiful home with lovely views and a great location. Unfortunately due to the dispute very little noise is tolerated. Wish Tracey all the best in the future.

"A house with great potential but, for us, spoiled by the many small faults."
A broken toilet seat, hot tub jets not all working, TV remotes and one TV missing, broken light bulbs, spa bath had not been checked and power to it was off by a hidden switch etc. In general, would benefit from a thorough check and maintenance

"We had an amazing time at Moor Farm Barns, Tracey was away for the weekend but she ensured that we had everything we needed and was on call for us throughout the stay."
The property was perfect for our Hen weekend with the fantastic hot tub that we struggled to stay out of. If you are going here and want to go into Lincoln for the evening book your taxis early as we struggled with this so ended up having music and drinks at the property instead. WiFi was provided throughout the property. Thank you for an amazing stay, we will definitely return!

"Lovely spacious well set out barn for 8 couples to have a great time."
The beds were comfy and everywhere was clean and tidy. The party spa hot tub was excellent and the garden area was plenty big enough for us to play games during the day. Tracey the host was very helpful and easy to get hold of as lives close by and responds quickly to any needs. Would definitely recommend.

"The accommodation could do with some TLC."
The patio doors were very difficult to close, there was a really bad smell from the sink. Ear the front door. Ventilation cover fallen off in the bathroom and just left on the floor. . Just little things. Overall it is a beautiful holiday hope and Tracey the owner was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again.

"The grading of this house is no where near 4/5 stars."
It’s tired & rundown inside. The hot tub which seats 12 people has not been used in months, this we could tell but we were told the day before we arrived that they had had engineering firms out to try & mend it, I’d love to see the reports on this. A hot spar tub was hired for 5, there was 15 of us!! This was no way hired , more like their own or borrowed, torn on the inside so the jets were not working to pump the water round properly. It was never checked or cleaned all the 4 days 3 nights we were there, we never saw the owner , not even for key pick up, it was left in a plant tub. We never got to pay the £200 bond and I’m glad we didn’t. All the insides of the fridges were broken and filthy, the large fridge freezer in the utility room was full of ice at the back. The sink in the utility had not been cleaned in months, talk about a pandemic. We couldn’t enter the property on day of arrival till 3 as deep clean had to be done due to covid, no way had this property been deep cleaned in months, pillows were that flat & old we had to check to see if they really were pillows. The plates and cutlery all had to be washed for us to use , every other plate had a chip or crack in, same as the bowls. Over £3,000 it cost for this stay , I’ve stayed in cleaner in Blackpool !!! Such a shame because the house as a fantastic layout, it’s just not look after.
Thank for your feedback. We're sorry to hear you was not happy with your stay at Moor Farm Barns. The hot tub we currently have is a hot tub that seats 8 people, not 12. Unfortunately we was not able to mend this before your stay, and instead had hired a hot tub that seated 5 people, we're sorry this was not the same size. The hot tub is hired from a local company, and is certainly not owned or borrowed. Upon your departure the hot tub was cleaned and we found no tears. We always meet guests on arrival and had contacted you to meet with the keys, however you explained that you was going to a pub first, and we was not able to wait until you came back so let you know the location of the key. The Good Housekeeping Bond is a requirement to book our property and we had requested this payment multiple times but was unable to obtain it from you. We have never received comments about the property not being cleaned to a high standard, guests regularly point out how clean our property is. We have checked the fridge and couldn't find any breakages or cleanliness issues. We have taken on board your comment on the pillows provided and have purchased new ones. We're sorry that you was not satisfied with your stay. Property Owner

"The accommodation suited our party of 16 brilliantly."
It was very big so we weren't on top of each other and each room having an en suite was fantastic. There was a lovely long table in the dining room so we could all eat together and lovely outside space for the kids to play. Hot tub was also a really good size. Would definitely recommend!

"Definitely i will do"
-
"Absolutely stunning venue."
.. was nice and clean & could not have booked a nicer venue.
-
"Had an amazing weekend celebrating my daughters upcoming wedding."
All the ladies loved the accommodation and all the facilities. Plenty of room to relax and party!! Tracy was very helpful and available if we needed anything. Only downside were the taxi prices which were extortionate but we had nominated drivers in the group so managed without. Otherwise absolutely brilliant!! Thankyou.
-
"Beautiful, spacious barn in a brilliant location for visiting Lincoln."
All bedrooms and bathrooms were lovely. Owner very helpful and friendly. A brilliant place to enjoy a holiday with a large group of friends and their families.
-
"The rooms were larger than appeared in pictures."
Kitchen well equipped and bed linen and towels lovely quality. The hot tub was a large size and a big hit as was the outside space. We needed a couple of repairs to shower hoses but these were repaired. We forgot to bring milk and butter from our home fridge so small welcome pack would have helped but bathrooms well supplied. Very good property.

"Moor Farm Barns was brilliant and Tracey couldn't do enough to help us!"
-
"Great party venue."
Spacious and spotlessly clean. Plenty of parking space. Every bedroom has its own en-suite facilities and a good sized wardrobe. We catered for ourselves and found absolutely everything we expected to find in the kitchen. We used the breakfast table as our buffet servery, keeping the larger dining table to seat our party of 13 - with room to spare. The sofas by the French windows were a favourite gathering point and the 12 seater outdoor dining table was used for pre-dinner drinks as well as sundowners. The hot tub was also well used. We had a fabulous stay in this private, well equipped and comfortable venue. Highly recommended.

"We had really warm welcoming and I can't describe how the owners were friendly and helpful, they are just around the corner and they gave us the full privacy all the time which we felt that like in our own home but were there if they were needed, we stayed in this place from 3rd of June till 7th of June and they were the most amazing time we spent in our life."
The place is massive and there is so much space for children to play around and the facilities in this place were incredible, it was very clean inside and outside, all rooms furnished to high standard and very comfortable and all rooms a good size, and the spa tub was really nice and the water was warm all the time, the equipment in the kitchen was enough to feel like in your kitchen. We would highly recommend this place, a big thank to Matthew and Tracy for providing such a great place and wish them all the best for the future, the group really enjoyed and definitely, we will book again.
-
"This was our second time at motor farm barns and booked through yourselves we even booked again to go back next year."
-
"Loved Moor Farm Barns."
Tracy and Matt we great hosts and we on hand if we needed, but left us to it the majority of the time. The house comfortably slept 16, although there were only 13 in our party. Plenty of pots, pans, glasses and cutlery for everyone, with some to spare if you didn't fancy washing up straight away. I couldn't reccommend Moor Farm Barns enough!! Thank you.
-
"Came here for a hen weekend and it was absolutely heaven!"
You can’t gage the sheer size of the place by the photos - it’s huge! The under floor heating was such a treat and the en suites were all stunning. The bride to be was over the moon and a few of the girls are already looking to book to come back. Thank you so much for providing such a perfect place for the most memorable hen do!
-
"I booked Moor Farm Barns for my hen do."
I can honestly say it was one of the best weekends I've ever had. The hosts were incredible, they gave you the privacy you would want but were there if they were needed. The facilities were incredible and everyone who attended commented on how amazing it was. From the bedroom to the hot tub, the experience was amazing and I would 100% recommend Moor Farm Barns!
-
"Excellent space."
Well proportioned property. All rooms a good size. Beds comfortable. Owners very accommodating. Good location near to Lincoln but quiet in the countryside. Showers hot. Good water pressure. Hot tub lovely but needs a little fixing. Some kitchen items needed cleaning before use. Kitchen lacked one or two bits needed to cook properly...e.g weighing scales. Some bedroom areas need a bit of attention...e.g shower doors not working. Curiously no coat hooks, shoe racks or towel hangers. All round great stay. Would recommend. Thank you.

"This is our 2nd stay at Moor Farm Barns."
Friendly owners and a great house.
-
"We’ve just got back from a weekend stay at Moor Farm Barns and it was absolutely fantastic!"
14 of us stayed and we loved every single minute of our time here. The house has everything you could ever need! The hot tub is huge and plenty of room for everyone. It’s only 10min drive into Lincoln too, so great if you want to go out for the day. We just want to say a huge thank you to Tracey & Matt the owners. Nothing was too much trouble for them! Infact we loved it that much we are already looking for a date to go back next year! If your thinking of booking here don’t hesitate, just do it... you will not be disappointed!! It’s a 10/10 from us!

"The Holiday was fantastic from start to finish ,The owners greeted us on arrival they was very nice and friendly throughout the holiday the house was spotless we did not want to leave."
On our last day the owners Tracey and Matt came to wave us off Lovely Couple..We will be back next year.
-
"No cooker on arrival on Friday pm finally arrived 7pm on Saturday evening, owners did everything they could to locate & install new one."
Would have liked additional towels as only one hand & one bath towel supplied. Owners MATTHEW & Tracy very nice people.
-
"We would be interested in recycling, we were short on dishwasher tablets, toilet rolls, towels, bin bags, one hand held shower was missing."
There were hanging stands but no wardrobes. Bed linen was a little tired but beds were very comfortable. There were plenty of cooking and kitchen utensils, games and TVs. The hot tub was a bonus. Kitchen area was used often and very comfortable. We all enjoyed our stay and there was plenty to see in the area. We booked RAF Scampton well in advance which is necessary as they have to check your identity and you have to take ID with you.
-
"Visiting 23rd feb for two nights for my sisters hen do, there was 15 of us in total and we did not receive one complaint."
The location and property is stunning and facilities are great. We absolutely loved every minute. And I would love to visit again in the future. I would more than recommend this property to anyone. Many thanks for such a great weekend x

"Booked this property for my hen weekend and it’s was everything I wanted."
A beautiful house with great facilities. Such a great party house.
-
"The house was fantastic and so was the location."
Our only criticism is that we had 2 wheelchair users staying with us and I rang before booking to check that the facilities were suitable. Unfortunately there was no ramp into the property and the shower facilities couldn’t be used. Apart from that it was very enjoyable, comfortable and would definitely book there again in the future.
-
"Moor Barn Farm is amazing!"
It is set in a fabulous location and is set back so it's so quiet. The got tub is big enough for 16 and is top quality. With 8 rooms and en suites it is very accommodating and decor is lovely. Everything is there and shops sent far away. Under floor heating really makes it feel 5 star when you are there. Defiantly will receive book at a later date.
-
"Moor Farm Barns was a wonderfully converted barn and it was fantastic having a bathroom for each bedroom."
-
"We had a wonderful weekend and we would look to return."
The place is amazing. Skye holidays were great with the whole booking. Would recommend to use them again. Thank you.
-
"Fantastic place."
Plenty of space and social areas. Well kitted out. Great quite location to use as a base to explore Lincolnshire. Wifi doesnt exist and you may experience cold showers if you all use the hot tub.
-
"This was such a beautiful barn to stay in, all facitilties was up to top scratch."
The most amazing weekend in 5* accommodation.
-
"It were a beautiful place and I would highly recommend this place , beautiful ..."
It were a beautiful place and I would highly recommend this place , beautiful place , the only criticism I would say is that the bin in the house were full when we arrived but still a wonder full experience and I would give this place top marks
-
"A perfect location for larger groups of friends and families."
top quality accommodation, in a peaceful location. Spotlessly clean. We really didn't want to leave....
-
"Fantastic barn conversion with lovely communal areas so ideal for a large group."
There is a resident owl who greeted us on arrival and nice touches like fresh flowers were most appreciated. A holiday in two halves really as those with rooms not in the attic were very pleased with their accommodation. Unfortunately the attic rooms although they have bathrooms did not have water flow making showers impossible and they had to share other peoples bathrooms. I believe this needs sorting urgently. Also a very simple and cheap win would be to have enough mugs so that everyone can have a drink at the same time or even to have more that that - we have had many weekends away in large groups and this is the first time this has been a problem.. Crockery and glassware were limited meaning that we had to wash up between courses... this could be fixed very simply. Hope this feedback has been helpful we certainly enjoyed ourselves despite the niggles.
