The Fossdyke lies just outside Canal Stories and offers a wonderful way to explore, you can follow the Fossdyke Canal Trail which runs along this Roman built canal, joining the tidal River Trent to Lincoln's High Bridge.
The Woodside Wildlife Park lies just outside Lincoln and is a fantastic day out for both adults and children alike, it is home to a wide array of animals including tigers, penguins, red pandas, crocodiles and even sloths!
Further east is the Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Natural Beauty which is home to some gorgeous and unspoilt scenery with charming villages, rolling hills and hidden valleys to explore.
