  • "It’s a great house, well equipped home from home, every room is spacious so plenty of room for the whole family to be together with plenty of room to move around, unrestricted use of the pool this year was a bonus, hot tub was great to have and the horses in the field behind was a great distraction for our youngest member, plenty of room in the garden for ball games too."

Danny our host is very approachable and gets any little quirks attended to quickly. This is our second year at Hall Farm and hope to make it a third time in 2023, it’s a great fit for our family.

  • "This is an amazing property to rent."

It has a wealth of space both indoors and out and provides entertainment for all ages whatever the weather, My family, including 4 grandchildren ages 4-11, loved it. The large indoor pool (1.2m depth) was a major hit and was used every day - in fact, the 4 year old took her first armband-free swim here. There is a good resource of indoor and outdoor games from board games to a full size pool table inside and croquet to chilling in the 8 seater hot tub outside. We befriended the horses in the adjoining field and all look back fondly on a great week. Thank you Danny and Holly.

. The pool and hot tub were top favourites with the pool table and Lego box close second. We enjoyed amazing weather for the whole week, but used the log burner in the sitting room one evening which created a cosy atmosphere. Danny was available if needed but the pool and hot tub water was tested regularly ,very discreetly.

The house is spacious and luxurious, the bathrooms and kitchen are well appointed, and the swimming pool was exceptional. Danny couldn’t do enough to help, whether it was teaching us to navigate the music system or suggesting the best route for a dog walk. The hot tub was big enough for us all, and the garden was large and safe for the dogs. Totally outstanding stay!

  • "This is an absolutely fantastic place!"

It looks smaller on the outside than we imagined, but it is like a Tardis on the inside. The rooms are huge, very nicely decorated and with great facilities. The bathroom toiletries are lovely, and the kitchen has everything you need, from scourers and cloths to washing up liquid and clingfilm. The pool and hot tub are kept in top condition, being treated twice a day, and there is also a good barbecue to use. The garden was great for the kids to run around in, and having sheep at the bottom of the garden certainly added extra interest. The owners were so helpful and charming and dealt with a couple of teething problems very quickly. There are loads of indoor and outdoor games available to play, as well as DVDs to watch. We had a wonderful time there, didn’t want to leave and would love to revisit.

  • "We booked this house on the basis that if lockdown didn't allow us to be out and about, there should be more than enough to occupy the kids in the house."

The house and facilities definitely met this. We all loved the swimming pool which was clean and tidy, as well as the garden games and pool table. The house itself and the grounds are gorgeous and we loved every minute. The owners were amazing, responding to ours queries immediately, and cleaning the pool and hot tub everyday without intruding our space. Our only feedback for improvement, would be more comfortable seating for outside, there's a lovely bench style dining table, but something more comfortable to relax on. Other than that our stay was perfect. Thank you so much!
