The historic village of Hagworthingham sits at the foot of the Lincolnshire Wolds in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It has a village store, country pub and local cafés selling scrumptious homemade goodies. Hagworthingham village is located on the A158 and is close to the market town of Horncastle, which is renowned for its interesting antique shops. Also close by are historic Alford and the town of Spilsby. Adjacent to Hagworthingham is Snipe Dales Country Park, 200 acres of beautiful rolling countryside with way marked trails, picnic areas and a variety of wildlife. For nature lovers, Gibraltar Point is close by and so is Donna Nook where seals come every year to have their pups on the beach in November or December. The elegant Victorian village of Woodhall Spa is just a few miles away, home of English golf, and Petwood Hotel was the RAF's Officer's Mess for 617 Squadron during World War Two. Nearby RAF Coningsby is home to the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and East Kirkby Aviation Museum is five miles away, while the Blue Flag beaches at Skegness offer traditional seaside attractions.
