Nestled in South Scarle just outside of Collingham is this beautiful, first-floor loft apartment, The Hayloft at Greystones.

With original barn features and contemporary touches, the open-plan apartment is the perfect romantic retreat to explore the spectacular countryside of Nottinghamshire.

The property has private, sheltered parking for one car located underneath apartment; walk just around the corner to the shared courtyard where you'll find quaint outdoor seating outside the apartment entrance, ideal for enjoying breakfast in the sunshine.

Take the stone steps up to the lovely barn door, where you will be greeted by a fantastic, open-plan living space.

The quaint features include wooden beams overhead, vintage furnishings and wooden floors, whilst the kitchen is equipped with everything you need for a self-catering holiday, whether that's rustling up a hot meal or packing a picnic for a hike.

After dinner, step into the sitting area with two leather armchairs and a sofa, switch on the electric fire, and put your feet up to watch a film on the Smart TV.

There is a small step up to the bedroom which boasts an impressive, four-poster king-size bed with plenty of storage space, with your morning coffee just a short journey away in the kitchen to kick-start your day.

A long day exploring calls for a soak in the roll-top bath in the separate bathroom, which also features wooden beams and charming decorations, and underfloor heating for added comfort.

Whether you want to stock up on the essentials or take a break from cooking, Collingham is a short journey away for essential amenities, including a restaurant, takeaway and a traditional local pub serving delicious hot meals.
