  • "Lovely cottage with plenty of room in a very rural location."

Welcoming hosts with lots of local info. Only down side was the wi-fi which was very in consistent. Otherwise would have given an excellent rating.

Nothing was to much trouble for them and they were very knowledgeable about the area there was many places to walk to walk the dog. And lovely beaches to visit. The gardens at the property were beautiful and sunny we would highly recommend it. Kevin Hogg

  • "Just returned from a lovely stay."

The cottage is perfect for a short stay and we thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s in a lovely part of the country, close to the coast with some great walks nearby. Brian was a lovely, friendly man who was happy to offer advice on the area.

  • "The cottage was fine but it had two downsides the heating went off at nine which lefts us rather cold and we had no control over the heating to rectify this."

And secondly there was no tv in the bedroom if these two problems were sorted I would then rate this cottage 10/10. Thankyou Roy Marshal

  • "Comfortable property in quiet surroundings, some improvements needed to make it perfect."

Shower very basic and either was scolding or freezing cold at times, kettle could’ve done with de scaling and a toaster would’ve been good but we used grill instead and finally please put a pair of scissors in the property that aren’t rusty. Minor things that didn’t spoil our break away it was very pleasant.

  • "The accommodation was clean and well maintained and in a very nice setting - the photo of the exterior doesn't do the place justice."

It's located in a lovely garden with plenty of privacy, even though the accommodation shares a drive with the owner's farm house next door. The accommodation had everything you would need (although perhaps more cutlery and crockery would avoid having to do the washing up so often). It's very well situated for the Lincolnshire Wolds and the beach resorts, as well as Louth. Very friendly and helpful hosts.

  • "This cottage failed to supply basic items."

The kitchen utensils were non existent which was a shame as a lovely large kitchen and area to use. Details said towels supplied 1 bath towel each for 5nts ,no hand towels just one supplied in the extra toilet. These towels were a number of years old although clean ! The bed was a 3/4 bed not really a double .Shower electric, but very intermittent with hot then cold water when running. The lounge furniture quite dated and sofa not comfortable too low down something out of the 1960's it felt and the 2 chairs again old ,not to comfortable more rest home than holiday home !! Couple whom own cottage were very friendly and space for our dog was good as a large garden meant he could exercise. Area for sitting out doors required a good sweeping otherwise adequate. To sum up our few days glad the cottage was more of a base than somewhere to actually use and relax in. This cottage has great potential if a little money spent on it on basic items as mentioned above.

  • "The cottage seemed ‘tired’."

Lots of cobwebs and the bathroom was not 100% clean. Shower could have been more effective. Kitchen area and facilities were sufficient. Lounge furniture dated and not very comfortable. Beds not very comfortable. Owners very friendly and helpful. Location was very good and handy for main town of Louth.
