The property

Oak Tree House is a lovely, detached cottage resting in a quiet residential street in the heart of Woodhall Spa, a leafy village surrounded by natural beauty.

This dwelling is well-suited to families and friends seeking a relaxing yet outdoorsy break in a fantastic part of Lincolnshire.

You will be welcomed into the entrance hall, with a bright and airy feel, leading you to either the large sitting room or through to the open-plan kitchen, where you can rustle up a delicious, home-cooked meal and get together around the dining table.

Later, spend your down time on one of the sofas in the lounge, kick back with your nose in a good book or tune into the smart TV.

Warm, summer days will invite you into the conservatory area, which stems off from the kitchen and offers a lovely sunny space to gather for lunch.

Throw open the patio doors and let a cool breeze fill the whole room before you step outside to make the most of the garden.

At the end of a tiresome day, you have three bedrooms upstairs to catch your rest, all doubles, yet one boasting its very own en-suite shower room.

Lastly, the family bathroom is ideal for a long hot soak in the bath tub on return from an adventure on the Lincolnshire Wolds, or the shower will wake you up ready for a fun-packed day of attractions.

You have many amenities right on the doorstep, including shops, pubs restaurants and a open air swimming pool.

Pay a visit to the market town of Horncastle or further afield to the bustling city of Lincoln and even head out to the east coast and find all the seaside wonders of Skegness and Ingoldmells.

A wonderful base to choose for your next family holiday.

About the location

Horncastle 6 miles; Louth 20 miles. Lincoln 18 miles

Woodhall Spa is a leafy, beautifully appointed village in the foothills of the Lincolnshire Wolds, designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village, once considered an ‘Inland Resort’, is the home of the English Golf Union and has two outstanding golf courses, plus plenty of interesting shops, pubs and restaurants. There is much to do in Woodhall Spa, including a heated open air swimming pool and a range of sports and leisure facilities, woodland walks, a children's play area, and even a small, quirky cinema, once an original picture house in the late 19th century. The town of Horncastle, a major antiques centre, is just 6 miles away, and Tattershall Lakes Country Park, ideal for fishing and watersports, is just a 10 minute drive. The Roman city of Lincoln is only 20 miles away, and the East coast a leisurely 35 minute drive away. There are some great walks and cycle routes nearby, or you can just relax in an idyllic country village environment.
