The property

Castlegate House is a stunning, contemporary holiday home resting in the centre of Lincoln, Lincolnshire.

With the city's castle overlooking the rear courtyard, this fabulous property is well-located in the heart of Lincoln, close to wonderful amenities and attractions.

On-street parking is available close to the property on a beautiful, red-brick residential street; climb the stone steps to the side entrance and make yourself at home.

Inside, you'll find stylish and sleek décor throughout with every inch of the property carefully thought-out.

A large, open-plan living space is the social hub of the house, where all six guests can sink into the plush, light-grey sofas under the stunning chandelier, watch TV, or catch up on the day's adventures in this bright and airy setting.

Step through into the pleasant dining area with soft blue seats to eat in comfort, whilst the kitchen features stylish countertops and trendy blue cupboards, a well-equipped space for the group's chef to impress with home-cooked meals; utilise the electric oven, gas hob, built-in microwave and fridge/freezer, alongside a dishwasher for convenience.

The city of Lincoln offers numerous places to visit, making it an ideal holiday destination. Its impressive hill-top medieval cathedral not only boasts striking architecture but was also a film location for both The Da Vinci Code and coronation scenes in Young Victoria. Walk the walls of Lincoln Castle and climb the tower, taking in views over the city. In the summer months, enjoy the open-air theatre, pop and rock concerts and re-enactment weekends in the castle grounds. The castle also houses Lincoln’s Magna Carta. Lincoln has great shopping with quaint and quirky independent shops in the cathedral quarter, including the famous Christmas Market in early December.
